No attempts would be made to hire this company again.
This is my personal opinion based on the experience received:
The work was completed but took a lot longer than estimated.
This was one of many renovations I experienced and so far the worse. The project was managed very poorly and no attempts would be made to hire this company again.

I hope our hard work benefits you and your family for many years to come. This was a very difficult job with many challenges and we performed quite well from a technical and workmanship aspect. We were hired by this client to repair the failing structure of the home and remove two load-bearing walls. The floors had sunk on the second floor and by the stairs, it was really bad more than two inches and we worked very hard to bring it back to level with God's help we were successful. Aside from that we fixed other structural issues, and completely removed two load-bearing walls and a whole load of other unexpected issues we found behind the walls, HVAC, asbestos, failing chimney structure, roof repair, hot water tank, to mention a few items. This post-covid era offers a lot of unique challenges, one being the ever-so-critical labour shortage we are experiencing nationwide. Financial pressure is being felt by all which is prompting homeowners to attempt to live through difficult renovations in order to save on cost. This is a fair warning to all of you out there that are considering a structural overhaul of your home whether it is removing load-bearing walls, fixing failing structures, pushing up sinking floors back up to their original level, or as in this customer's case, all of the above! You will find hidden problems and variables, you will get into additional work, costs, and timelines. Whether your home is 15 years old or 150 years old, when you open up the structure to fix it, you have to fix everything. The home's structure is the first and most important aspect of the home's construction, and any home's structure can be rejuvenated to a point even better than it first was built. Investing in the structure of your home is definitely the best investment you'll ever make on your home. But be prepared to deal with the costs that arise and the additional time it may take, and keep in mind the company you are hiring to do it has other clients and other responsibilities and when your job starts to affect other project's timelines there will be a cascading effect and the job that is causing all the delays will suffer the most. Even though this client gave us a bad rating we are still happy to have added this job to our portfolio. Our work was done well and what we accomplished is worthy of bragging about. Thanks for hiring us, thanks for paying on time, thanks for paying in full without having to be asked twice and we hope one day you will appreciate our hard work.
