Tribute Communities

I moved into my house in October 2012 and was not very happy with the finishes. The upgraded granite counters where cracked and unsealed, the upgraded cabinet doors had cracks. The cabinet doors where repair however, we have had the granite company come out 5 times and the issue has not been resolved. It is now September 2013 and there is still no grass and no garbage pick up. I was told by Michelle that they have up to one year to lay sod (she giggled with that comment),well one year is coming up fast. We still have to drive 2.3 kms to dispose of garbage, with the summer we had you can only imagine how enjoyable that was. Now the other side if the street, well, they have pick up. I was told by this wonderful person that was named above that the townhouses that close around the same time got their sod first because the city required it.

All of light switches in the house were back wards and the lights dime when running the microwave. We had to fight to have the plans for the kitchen to be honored and the space for the fridge is still to small, the builder will not fix it.

List of issues:
It has been almost a year since we did closing for one of our houses and still don't have garbage pick up service (we are asked to go 2 KM away from our house to dump the garbage), after year later they still haven't lay down the grass or build the fence yet and blaming that on the weather. All we have in our yard is weed and dust. Every time you open the door you bring enough dust inside the house. All the construction for the tribute houses was completed over a month ago, so not sure what they are waiting for now. They had promised that everything will be completed by end of August. They way they are moving, I don't think they will finish the job until next year. I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase a new home with Tribute unless you are willing to go through same headache.

Tribute is a very good home builder however after moving in we realized a few flaws that needed to be addressed. We ended up hiring a great home inspection company called Meticulous Inspections who helped us document some deficiencies that the builder was not willing to address. Overall however, i am very satisfied with Tribute!

Recently purchased a Tribute community home in Ajax. They have won many awards for the specific community in which we live in. The community is called Nottingham in Ajax. Really happy with our home, but most important, with the quality and architecture. Would recommend anyone else to look at a Tribute home before making a final purchase. They build homes all across Ontario

I moved into the Imagination community and its one of the best places I have lived thus far. The homes are well bulide and the customer service experience is just incredible. I would recommend this builder in a second.The community is full of nature and beautiful landscape, with parks everywhere. There is also a fitness part which is very beneficial.

Tribute's dedication has garnered some of the industry's highest awards, we are vey satisified with the qualtity of customer service they have provided to us. We would recommend them as one of the best community home builder.They have won national and international awards with organizations including the Tarion Warranty Corporation and J.D. Power and Associates.
