I have small children who can't help but spill everything on the furniture, especially on the off-white dining-room chairs during meals. My husband and I were getting tired of sitting on the stained chairs and were a bit embarrassed of how they were looking, so we decided to have them recovered with a child proof fabric (if there was such a thing!). We did a Google search and found a local upholsterer, Anthony at Amp Upholstery. I brought in my seats to have him take a look at them. He took his time with me, and showed me a wide range of family friendly fabrics. The one I finally chose was a fabric which is teflon coated, and is supposed to clean and wear very well. The price for the labor was great, although the fabric I bought was a bit pricier because of the teflon coating. I've had the chairs back now for a couple of weeks, and they look and feel great. The kids are still spilling food on them, but the fabric cleans well with just a quick wipe from a damp cloth. Thank you Anthony for the great service and job well done!

I had purchased a used pull-out love-seat, and was tired of the drab fabric that was on it so decided to have it recovered with one which suited my style and decor. My sister had used Anthony at Amp upholstery to recover a couple of chairs, and she was very pleased with the quality of his work. She had her chairs recovered 2-years ago, and they still look like new. I visited Anthony's showroom, where he has plenty of samples to choose from. He helped me pick out the right fabric that was in my budget, and the order was placed. He arranged for the pick-up, and within a week or so I received my love-seat back looking and feeling like it was brand new. I will be telling my friends about the great job Anthony did.

Anthony the owner of AMP upholstery was rude and did not stand behind his workmanship. The fabric on my finished chair was clearly crooked, and he refused to rectify the problem. Furthermore, he would not give me my chair and fabric if I did not pay him. I found him to be a bully when dealing with him, and he did not try to offer any solution at all. I would not recommend this business and in fact found this to be the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
