New addition and basement framing
An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
PTR Carpentry framed a new addition at the rear of the house. This addition included installing new LVL beams to support a light-well that would bridge from the existing house into the new addition, from the roof to the new kitchen on the main floor.
Paul and his crew also framed the basement of the new addition as well as the new underpinned basement of the existing house.
There were many extra things that needed to be done as the job rolled along including design changes to the roof and rebuilding of the existing flat roof to allow for a 9' second floor bathroom. All of this extra work was completed on time and with minimal extra cost.
When the city inspector came to look at the framing, he said that 'he wished all his jobs looked like this'.
On top of that Paul and his guys were a pleasure to work with, friendly, professional and hard working. I would recommend without hesitation.
