I just had two armchairs refinished and reupholstered by Harry. My experience with Harry was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He is a real gentleman and truly talented. The chairs have been in my family my whole life and are very special to me. I felt at ease immediately that Harry would do a wonderful job. My expectations were exceeded. The chairs have extremely intricate wood detailing and require a lot of attention to detail. I can't recommend Harry enough. He really delivers and has very reasonable pricing. No need to call anyone else for your furniture refinishing and reupholstering job. Thank you Harry! I look forward to the next project with you.

I had done extensive comparison shopping online before choosing Harry to refinish our dining room table, china cabinet, 6 chairs including new upholstery that I inherited. The set is over 80 years old and the table needed some major refinishing.
Harry did a meticulous job on the entire set and must say he totally lives up to the reviews that have been posted on this site. He takes great pride in his workmanship and you can see the impressive results once completed.
He even requested both my wife and I visit his business to be totally satisfied with his suggested lighter stained colour before
proceeding and really showed off the wood grain of the mahogany table and cabinet.
The job was completed on time and to budget, and would highly recommend Harry to my family and friends and would not hesitate to use his services again. To summarize, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Harry, job well done!

Harry & his helper were great! We so appreciated him taking on our project of prepping & spraying 195 staircase spindles very close to Christmas. Without him I'd still be sanding! The transformation of this staircase was incredible & Harry was an integral part. Client is happy, so we're happy! Highly recommend Harry...Thanks so much!

Harry is simply amazing! His attention to detail was spot on! His delivery guys came and picked up the table, chairs and wall unit like it was their own and went they dropped off everything, they set up all the pieces!

Harry's prices are very reasonable compared to the other places I looked at! We had 6 dinning set chairs, dinning set table and a china wall unit. Harry also Upholstered our chairs!!

We had a couch that got a minor damage/scratch during the move and we needed a reliable and professional place that will provide quality work for a reasonable price. Contacted three companies on HomeStars and Harry was the first to reply with the best value for our $$$. The repair was done on the day we dropped off the couch at Harry's repair shop!!! Our customer was extremely satisfied with the work! The couch looked better than before the damage :)

Well deserved 10/10

I can't be brief so here goes. My mother in law had a 51 year old light yellow bedroom set that she did not want to part with, however, it was showing its age. It included bedframe, headboard, 2 night tables, and a tall boy dresser. In addition we had a mahogany dining room table that had surface scratches and heat marks. Reading on HomeStars I found Harry. Working with Harry was effortless. He came to give the quote on time. Didn't add any surprises to the quote. His delivery people were professional and prompt. He answered all my calls and returned messages promptly (may seem like a no brainer, but I am dealing with a kitchen installer now that wont answer my call unless I dial from "unknown name" and trap him-) . Best of all - He knows his stuff! Harry suggested a finish for the table that I did not want and after several visits to his shop I agreed to compromise with his vision and what I thought I wanted. Wouldn't you know I saw his idea for the table in Ethan Allen the next month!!! and I loved it. LOVE my refinished table, but I can see why he was trying to encourage me to go with his idea. As for the bedroom set. Because of the method of finish 50 years ago, he suggested the light stain I originally wanted to copy would not look good due to the original paint that had seeped into the wood. So he provided a number of samples and the bedroom set is absolutely gorgeous. Harry also has a good selection of fabric suppliers some of which I have seen in home décor magazines. Now I find that I would rather search out consignment stores and used furniture rather than buying new cheaply made pieces because I know that if they are well made quality items, Harry can restore them to their previous beauty. With Harry you do get what you pay for...so if you want quality work done, it is money well spent.

We had 2 pieces of furniture from my mother-in-law that had sentimental value and needed to be refinished. Harry did a terrific job with both the repairs (which were invisible) and the refinishing. The colour on one of the pieces was much darker than anticipated and Harry immediately offered to re-stain the unit at no extra charge. Harry is a delight to deal with and I have recommended him to family and friends.

Harry is a very professional personable person who is extremely knowledgeable in refinishing and upholstery. We refinished our 45 year old bedroom suite and it looks brand new. We are extremely happy with his work and his prices are reasonable and would high recommend him.

Harry came within a day of us calling him. He gave us a price to strip and refinish a Chinese Chippendale dining room table and 6 chairs which we had used and re-finished several times in the 44 years since we bought it from the Art Shoppe. We gave him the colour and finish.
He did one chair and we took it back to our home; but decided we wanted a different colour.
He did one more chair in the new colour. We took it home and told Harry that it was just right. He asked us to return the chair so that he could do the entire set at the same time and using the same glaze finish.
We then decided to re-upholster the chair seats. We gave the material to him and the end result is PERFECT.
Notwithstanding all the changes we kept making, he charged us the original quoted cost plus $45/chair to re-stuff and re-uphoster the seats.
Harry is highly recommended by us.
