I asked Harry to refinished a very large solid wood table - plus a leaf - from a dark brown to a grey wash - along with 6 chairs - he did an excellent job in a timely manner (2 weeks) and was far less expensive than the other quotes I received. He sanded it - I visited the shop we chose the new Color and it looks terrific.

Job was completed in a timely manner to my satisfaction. Cost was acceptable and workmanship excellent.

Harry did a beautiful job in refinishing, painting and upholstering . My furniture was my grandmothers.

It was a way of keeping her furniture with a modern look.

I had been looking to refinish my kitchen cabinets for quite a while. I could not find anyone who would do a clear finish. Someone suggested a furniture refinisher, and I had instant success with A. Harrys Furniture Refinishers. Quick communication, quick turnaround, no hassles. Very nice people to deal with. I'm very happy with the service I received and the refinished cupboard doors. I had a broken, antique carved wooden dowry box that was covered in many layers of old paint. Harry carefully stripped the old paint, repaired the broken wood, and refinished the box beautifully in a way that shows its old character while protecting it for many more generations to come.

We have a mid-century teak dining table and chairs that needed substantial repair. Not only did A. Henry's do an excellent job with the repairs of both, they revisited to check that all pieces were 100% sturdy and fine, without being asked.

We also had a number of pieces of mid-century teak furniture that needed to be refinished. The dining room sideboard, bedroom chest of drawers and two sidetabls all needed to be restored. A. Harry's did a brilliant job with all these pieces and restored them to their original state.

We cannot speak highly enough of A. Harry's and Harry himself for the professionalism, craftsmanship and the courtesy extending to us.

I am redecorating several rooms and had some wood furniture that no longer fit in as it was red or orange toned. But the pieces were wood and better made than some of the new furniture I was looking at so I decided to have the items refinished and chose Harry based on reviews. He came out to look at the pieces and arranged for delivery to his shop. We chose to paint 2 items and to restain the 3rd ( and met with Harry at his shop to choose the exact right stain colour). The items were delivered today and we could not be happier. They all are beautiful and look great in the redecorated rooms. Its like I have all new custom furniture but at a much better price. A. Harry's reupholstered and rebuilt my dining room chairs in good time. They are now comfortable and the right height for my table. They were easy to deal with through pick up and delivery of the chairs, choosing the furniture and discussing how to fix them
