In January, I noticed that the basement walls had mould and water was collecting in the South East corner of the basement floor. When the drywall was removed, the insualtion and framing were dry. It was then determined that I might not have a crack or leak in the foundation, but that water was seeping up through my basement floor. Mario explained why I had the problem and how to fix it. He answered all my questions and was easy to get a hold of when I had more questions. We decided to lay weeping tile along the inside of the foundation walls. Other waterproofing companies I contacted suggested replacing the outside weeping tiles. Mario explained that if the water was trapped under the house, which it seemingly was, an outside trench would not provide a path for the water to escape. No sooner did they start to dig the inside trench, than the trapped water under the house found it's new path and was guided away. My contractor suggested we not continue with the renovation until we were sure the waterproofing had fixed my issue. Last week, after the big rain storm, my basement was still dry! Thank-you Mario and your crew!
Once the job was scheduled, Mario and his crew were on time and worked until the job was complete.
