Toronto Home Theater

Mike came out and met with me to review my home theatre needs. My immediate project was to do something in my main floor family room where we only had the TV's built-in speakers. But he agreed that we should put in in the context of our long-term plans for the basement. He recommended a sound bar solution on on the main floor and wait until the kids are older to do up the basement with the full home theatre experience. Very practical and thoughtful.

I needed to setup my TV on a rotating mount due to the size and space restrictions at my new house, but I also wanted a big TV making it a much more difficult job. After researching a number of different companies to do this job, Mike was easily the best prepared and the most enthusiastic about making the job work best for my layout. He and his apprentice showed up on time, were very easy to talk to and did a fantastic job with the difficult set up. He was able to include every single aspect of what I wanted in my home theater system. Working with Mike was a pleasure and I would easily recommend him to anyone because as he said himself "you get what you pay for".

I read great things about Toronto Home Theater so I booked a consultation with Mike. My apartment's cable outlet was on the other side of my living room because of they way the developers laid out the unit. He was very honest and professional and was clearly an expert in this field. He had my 100% trust and confidence the moment he convinced me to go with a cheaper solution than what I'd originally wanted. That's how you know that they really care about what is best for the customer and not just the largest dollar amount.

Kyle came over to do the work quickly and expertly. They made everything look extremely discreet. I love the work that was done and these guys are the best.

I don't write reviews...EVER...but these guys definitely deserve it. Easy to work with, very professional and amiable and just overall worth every cent.

I'm already planning out my next project with them! :)

When I left NY 5 years ago, I packed up all my 5.1 equipment and it remained in boxes until now. Then 2 months ago I thought I would treat myself to a new home theatre. This time however I wanted a large screen and projector. Originally I was going to do this piecemeal by hiring different people and by also doing a lot of it myself. To me experts aren't usually so good at what they do and I am super picky.

However part of my research had uncovered THT so I decided to have a conversation with Mike and he convinced me that I would be happier going with his company. So after months of thought and research into the components I wanted, I asked him for the initial home evaluation. He came over, spent a generous amount of time with me going over everything and then I signed on the bottom line. -- AND I AM GLAD I DID --

Mike and Kyle came to do the work, work that would have taken me a week to figure out, I think I must have said the following to everyone I have talked to since about the home theatre setup: "I am sure glad I didn't do the install myself." It may not seem that complicated once you see how everything works together, but it is definitely a 2 person job, probably a 3 person job and like every job in your home there are always unforeseen complications. But with the team the installation went very well and took almost a full day. A few weeks later Chris came to patch and paint the walls because they had to be opened due to cable runs.

Everything is now perfect, am I satisfied with the job?... yes I am absolutely thrilled with the results.

So my advice to anyone reading this would be to not even try to install a home theatre yourself but to use THT instead. In all honesty they are not at all expensive and because of that, the value of their service is extremely high.

Lastly I rarely give kudos to anyone, however the team at THT deserves a sincere thank you.

We are thrilled with the outcome of our collaboration with Mike and his team of pros on the total transformation of our rec room. The project has exceeded our expectations in all respects, from the cabinet work to the performance of the system. The theatre room is now the showcase in our house. Highly recommend THT.

Recently packing up my house to move I called mike and Kyle to carefully and with care take down and dismantle my flat screens and home theatre system.
Quick and carefully Kyle packed took down everything and helped us pack it. This is a great company with great professionals. Will use them again !

We had just moved to Toronto and not knowing a soul, relied heavily on reviews of Toronto Home Theater in choosing a service provider to ensure the proper installation of tv, stereo, receiver, etc. Mike and Kyle were extremely attentive in both the installation and follow up questions. THT is certainly savvy as to the latest technologies for home theater, patient with those of us who are technologically challenged, extremely responsive and professional.
