Nev was fantastic and helped us through a very stressful situation. We had to get the air and vermiculite tested in our new house as a result of the previous owner not removing it properly. He went out of his way to ensure our home is completely safe to move into. Despite bombarding Nev with the many questions we had, he was always very patient in answering them. Nev and his team were absolutely the best -- honest, reliable, friendly, professional, and hard-working. He explained to me the DIY remedy for mold and left it to me as to whether we'd want to pursue this option. We decided not to, simply because time is precious to us. I was really amazed how much work was involved. The protocols are intense! Nev's team was polite, tidy, and showed a real attention to detail. I felt like I was in good hands. They also pointed out to us that the mold on our basement ceiling was the "canary in the coal mine". The cause of the mold was, very likely, a back wall, which had been covered over with some plywood sheets, and was soaking wet! When Nev's team exposed this, and we ran a dehumidifier for a week (which we've learned to keep running constantly), the wall dried up considerably, and we bought ourselves a bit of time to save money for the inevitable basement waterproofing we'll need. I am very grateful to Accu-Star for services rendered, and would unhesitatingly recommend their services to closest friends and relatives.

I am *highly* allergic to mold so when I first called Nev a year ago after experiencing allergies in our basement I was in a panic! He quickly located the problem (a storm window left slightly ajar for way too long and told me how to clean it ourselves. He quickly inspected the rest of the property and finding nothing, did not even charge the full inspection amount. Earlier this year we bought a new house and used him to verify it's mold/moisture status before we even put in an offer. We also used him to do a remediation on my mother-in-law's house after a leak caused major mold to develop. And finally, I called Nev in (another!) panic when the house we purchased sprung a leak in the roof 4 days before our closing. Nev made room in his schedule to do a reinspection, providing clear guildelines on what needs to be done to address the water damage. He is totally reliable, very pleasant to deal with, caring, and extremely reasonable. I can testify that there is no more mold at all in my mother-in-law's and am confident about recommending his services to anyone!

Simply put, Nev and his team were true professionals from start to finish. I moved into a 25 year old home where the builder did not remove the plywood framing that was used to pour the front poarch where the cold cellar is located. It was evident that there was mold so I called Nev and explained my situation. He came the next day to investigate the mold and provided me with a detailed explanation of how he and his team would address the issue. He was able to start the work a few days later. His team removed shelving, plywood forms and all the mold. They then cleaned all the mold and then protected the entire cold cellar to deter mold growth in the future.
