Couldn't ask for a better experience considering how devastated we were when we discovered the mold. And it started right from the initial meeting with Nev from Accu-Star Environmental Inc. He arrived on time, thoroughly inspected all possible areas that may have been contaminated upstairs and down and outside, and explained exactly what he was doing at all times. After over an hour he found what eventually proved to be the cause of our problem - when the cabinet installers put up the kitchen cabinets, they searched for studs by hammering a nail into the wall until they found wood. Well, they found a drain pipe on one of these hunts and caused a small drip to exist for many years, hidden in the wall. We arranged a date for mold removal and a team of Steve, Jeff, and Tyler showed up, again exactly on time. They were very professional and by the end of the day the job was complete - rooms isolated with plastic, zippered temporary doors, floor protection, air flow machines to isolate mold areas, moldy drywall removed and bagged, and wood disinfected and painted with mold killing paint. A human friendly disinfectant fog was also blown throughout the house. Then the 2 UV air machines that they had installed upstairs and down were left for 2 days to kill any airborne spores from the rest of the house. Then they did a final cleanup. Every one on the team was very friendly, and patiently answered our many questions. In the end, we feel confident that our problem has been solved and we feel completely safe again in our home.
