Spray It Like New Kitchens

I am delighted to write a review regarding the top notch job that True North Home Services did in re-spraying my pine bedroom furniture. The quality of workmanship, attention to detail, anticipated turnaround time, and cost of the service exceeded my expectations. I sought out estimates from several vendors and in return received a striking range of quotes. As I was a “newbie” to re-spraying, the owner, Tracy Sauer, patiently and thoroughly answered all of my questions regarding the process and what to expect. His knowledge and expertise in refinishing wood ultimately swayed me to go with a lacquer finish for lasting durability, as opposed to a paint finish. I cannot stress enough the quality of Tracy’s workmanship. Glaring imperfections were repaired, filled, and sanded where necessary. I am over the moon with how beautifully my furniture turned out, especially since they were never high-end quality pieces to begin with! They complement my much newer Pottery Barn bed, as if they were part of the same bedroom set. True North Home Services’ estimate was competitive (and included a volume discount), and upon completion of the work, it was accurate as I paid exactly what I was quoted. Even though the business is located in Southwestern Ontario, Tracy services the GTA and there was no extra charge for delivery to my location in Niagara. Other vendors’ quotes either charged for delivery or they did not deliver at all which is hugely inconvenient for those who don’t have a truck or van. The only legwork that you really need to do is twofold: (1) When you submit your request for an estimate, ensure that you provide as much detail as possible as this will assist Tracy in providing you with a precise estimate. Carefully inspect your furniture in good lighting for any imperfections (holes, chips, scratches, etc.), take measurements, and provide photos. Don’t be afraid to ask questions if anything is unclear. (2) You will need to remove any hardware (knobs, in my case) and thoroughly clean your furniture (I couldn’t believe the layer of dust that had settled on the inside of my dressers when I took the drawers out!). These simple things will go a long way to ensuring a smooth process for all involved. I would not hesitate to use the services of True North Home Services for a future project. Thanks, Tracy!
