Mister Plumber

It was a big job. I wanted to get 2 quotes. Mister Plumber was my first quote. I almost didn't go for another quote because I trusted Volodymyr, as he explained everything throughly and I thought that the price quoted was very fair. I felt like the job was in good hands, it would be well done and good value. It was just a very good feeling. I also went to Waterworks for a quote - easy decision, they were over 2 times the quote of Mister Plumber and the person presenting the quote did not make me feel confident that they would do the job well. Mister Plumber performed the job better than I ever imagined. They told me that since they have to dig up part of my driveway to access the city pipes, they can't guarantee that they can put everything back, ie they are not a landscaping company too. I understood. In the end, after a full day of digging and several large deep holes in my driveway, I arrived home from work and couldn't even tell that any work had been done!! There was no indentation in my driveway and where they replaced pipes inside was totally clean. I can't recommend these guys high enough.

Mister Plumber helped me with plumbing and drain for my kitchen renovation. Plumber had to make couple visits because there was delay with appliances.
Job was done great, even they replace my old 1/4 plastic fridge line with new copper.
If I ever need plumbing in the future, I will definitely contact Mister Plumber without hesitation.

The outpipe would often plug up and needed cleaning out. Vlad was the first plumber to inspect and recognize that there was a slight grading upwards towards the sewer pipe, which I could confirm with a measurement with a level, so we replaced it with the proper downward sloping grading. Weel done Vlad!

I bought new "KOHLER" toilet and called couple plumbers for quote. Mister Plumber gave me reasonable price and promised to do at any time that good to me.
Igor came on time, replaced old toilet with new one. Also, he disposed old toilet. Good job for affordable price.

Our Thanksgiving supper left us with sewage backup in basement crawl space-YAK! First, we called the City to make sure that the problem did not originate from City drains, but that proved unfruitful since we could not take-off the clean-out cap probably stuck there for 50 years. So after reviewing this Website we decided to contact Mister Plumber. These guys are responsible, pleasant and they deliver "satisfaction" not a easy task because we encountered several obstacles including:
-collapsed drain pipe on City side, unusually deep drain pipes (34 in down) and weeping tiles above the drainage system that led to infiltration of ground water into the backwater valve pit. This meant that stagnant water was lurking under the basement floor -and was simply unacceptable to us. Mister Plumber agreed to remove the fullport backwater valve they had installed initially and they installed the Adapt-A-Valve backwater valve instead...et voilà WATER GONE! Kudos for being patient also - I must have asked 1,000 questions...this was my 1st sewage backup ever, I needed to understand it all...
I'm giving these guys a "9"- not a full "10" because it was obvious from the get-go that the water table would be a problem. The Adapt-A-Valve is much better suited to situations like ours and it seems to me that they should have known. But in the end the problem was resolved -NO HASSLE whatsoever.

I recently received a letter from the City of Toronto informing me that they were installing water meters on the homes in my area. I arranged for an installer to come and was horrified to discover that the pipe coming in from the water main dated from the mid 70's and was in such bad shape that the meter installer wouldn't touch it. He strongly recommend that I contact a plumber before the pipe failed completely and water started to gush into my basement. In a panic I searched Homestars and phoned 4 plumbers for quotes. Vlad from Mister Plumber came to my home at 7:30 on a miserable rainy night, looked at the pipe, spent 20 minutes explaining what had to be done, went to his truck and wrote out a detailed quote and spent another 15 minutes explaining the quote.
The other 3 plumbers arrived over the next 2 days. Although I asked for written quotes, none of them gave me one and 2 of them said they would have to replace all of the galvanized piping in the basement with copper at a price 3 to 4 times what Vlad had quoted.

All of this happened during Hurrican Sandy but as soon as it stopped raining Vlad's crew arrived. They were professional, knowledgeable and polite. They were very careful with the lockstone in my driveway and even replaced it (the other plumbers had said they would simply fill the hole with gravel and I would have to hire someone else to replace it). Vlad's crew were very careful to clean up everything and left the basement, the driveway and the outside of the house as if they had never been there.

I was extremely pleased with Mister Plumber and would recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing repairs.

My wife and I found Mister Plumber on Homestars. We contacted the principal Vlad and through out the whole process he (and Igor) were courteous, prompt and professional.
He married the plumbing of our circa 1922 home with a kitchen update and bedroom conversion to a large bathroom. We highly recommend Vlad and his company.
