Hardwood Floor Purchase & Install
Purchased our floor for our 2200 square foot home. They ordered the wrong floor in. They recommended an installer. The installer, Mike, brought the wrong floor, started installing it. When I mentioned it was the wrong floor they made me feel like it was my fault. The next day the right floor was brought to my home, the other stuff ripped out. The installer had an extremely bad attitude after this experience. His workers all quit on him so it was only him and his wife doing the whole job themselves. They didn't screw down the sub floor so now my floor squeeks and they took chunks out of my floor. I had to fire them when I noticed this and find a replacement. The installer went to the store and demanded his money. I was owed a bit of money back for the screw up from the store on the order of the hardwood floor. They sold me a more expensive floor than what I had ordered. So the person working there called me and told me I HAD TO pay the installer or else I was not getting my refund back for the more expensive floor that they had ordered in. He first told me that the person that installs the floor had NOTHING to do with the store and was completely separate. He had nothing to do with the transactions of money, etc. As soon as the screw up happened and we had to fire the guy, the store told me I HAD TO PAY HIS INSTALLER. It was completely ridiculous, poorly dealt with, and put my husband and I out of pocket an extra $2000 because we had to hire someone else to come in and fix the screw ups and install the floor properly. I will never deal with these people again, nor refer them to anyone else.
