Mr. Stubbs’ crew did some work that I needed done at the back of my basement and they redid my front porch. I am incredibly happy with the quality of the work. His entire crew was professional and respectful, and ensured minimal disruption for my neighbours. Mr. Stubbs explained any additional issues as they came up, and his crew was easy to communicate with. I would not hesitate to use them again for work on my house or to recommend them to someone needing work done.

This winter we found that the paving stones on our front walk had come loose. We remembered that Mr. Stubbs had done work for us in the past and contacted him to see if he could repair our walk. He returned our call promptly, inspected the walk and provided an estimate for the work to be done. We agreed to this estimate. The work was completed within a week, including resetting the stones, tuck pointing throughout and applying sealant. Our walk now looks beautiful again and we are very happy with this excellent service.

Job scheduled for 3 weeks, 2 weeks early they were doing the job. They were very personable, proficient, and professional so much so I have another job lined up with them for this week. Exceptional, reliable, fair, and highly skilled! A. Stubbs Contracting has been known in the neighbourhood for years, so when I needed work done they were my only call. Extensive exterior brick repair, including tuck pointing, parging, new chimney collar and cap, waterproofing down to the footings, and more, were all done exactly when and as quoted, with great care and attention to detail. Stubbs' crew was always punctual, professional, and very skilled. Every detail of the work was explained to me by Mr. Stubbs, who is personally involved in the work on a daily basis. The prices quoted were reasonable and very fair, and often the work included "a little extra" just because it made sense to do it. I'm already considering what the next project is, and know I'll be calling A. Stubbs Contracting again!

Would definitely recommend A. Stubbs Contracting to others! After searching for contractors for years to complete various jobs, both big and small, we have finally found someone that we can count on. Our back deck was removed, lowered and finished beautifully. The crew arrived promptly, worked diligently and professionally. Mr. Stubbs was very professional and checked in frequently on options and final design. His team also helped fix a portion of crumbling foundation and seal up siding to prevent further water damage (not a part of the original work, but very happy that we did this!).
