I Ordered a custom Piece from the Owner Stephan Howard. He gave me great service at first, until it took him 4 months to deliver on a piece that he said would take 2 weeks.untruth after unthruth is all I got for 3.5 months straight. Finally when I asked for the deposit I put down back (which was half, that I gave him upon order)and threatened him with small claims court did I receive my piece(a week later). Not only was that bad enough but the last time I went into to his store to talk to him about getting my piece he used profanities while yelling at me. Thats right yelling at me in the middle of the store and swearing at me as if I was annoying him. I was so upset and humiliated I left crying.This happened over a year ago and I have since heard similar stories people have had with this company and in particular Stephan Howard.I finally felt I had to say something somewhere and then this wonderful website HOMESTARS was recommended and I just had to speak my piece,this can't keep happening. I would NEVER on my worst enemy recommend this man for the job. I felt that the only thing I got from this experience that should have been an exciting one was headache and actual anxiety!!! He was horrible , full of empty promises and he banks on the fact that unfortunately he has a beautiful showroom that will keep people coming back regardless of his behaviour.I now have my custom piece that wasn't even done properly so I had to refinish the piece myself as I just wanted to be done with Flik and company and Stephan Howard for good. Be wary and don't go there.

While I appreciate the comments of this review - I do have the right to defend it.
I am not sure who this person is - as I can assure anyone that I do not commonly yell or use profanities at customers. We DID have an issue with a carpenter who worked for us and did CUSTOM work and this said carpenter left us in the lurch for many products and clients pieces. We tried in all good faith to resolve anything outstanding and to date have accomplished that. If I had as bad a reputation as this person is claiming - I would not be in business..It is never our intent nor our practice to have clients upset with us in this manner. I am rather surprised at the statements that this person is claiming. When a store owner rely's on others to complete products for them -we are left in the hands of them. I can stand behind the fact that we have made sure and always do make sure that the customer is always happy at the end of the day.
