Pattern Lock Interlocking

I was initially happy with the work. They seem nice and tried to be helpful. My pool did not pass the City of Oakville inspection because of the grading of the pool surround -- and cost me an additional 5K deposit that I did not have returned to me. In the summer of 2022 (less than a year after it was built, some stones were sinking. In the process of trying to ready it for inspection, they did repair the stones that were sinking. IN the summer of 2023 I noticed extreme unevenness and asked them to come back. They said they would and did not. I asked several more times between August 2023 and June 2024. Constantly saying he would do it and still a no show. I became so concerned about the safety that I finally had another contractor have a look. He showed me what a poor job had been done to most of it -- screening but no gravel underneath, not nearly enough base material and a missing barrier that should have been installed to prevent the stone from sliding off the concrete pool surround. 2500 dollars later, the new contractor fixed the worst parts (and only half of it was replaced due to cost) and it is much better. Real cost? 49K. Roger and company don't know what they're doing.
