Simcoe Handyman

I'll keep it simple. Randy pitched the job, got us to sign a contract, and then made sure we paid the first two installments before any work was done. Once he started missing all of his deadlines, we stopped paying. We have paid him almost $10,000 and he has not done one thing on this project and has broken every promise he made to us. After a few months and phone calls that resulted in us realizing that he hadn't been truthful with us about why he was delayed starting the project and some other things, we asked him for our money back. After trying to claim expenses that he could not prove, he has disappeared on us. Obviously, I would not recommend his services, mainly because we didn't receive any from him and he has zero conscience about keeping our money even though he didn't do one thing for us.

The work we paid for was not completed. Please see pictures. Very poor workmanship and very poor tine management skills. Due to the pandemic we were out of town when our house was up for sale. We paid in full.....our mistake....thinking that the work would be completed. Not only was there poor workmanship but the work was blatantly not completed. Said they were coming back several times but never came. I do not recommend Simcoe Handyman. They laid a new floor in a basement bedroom and left the drain exposed!
