Our garage door roller had slipped out of the runner.

I called Chris at Markham Garage Doors who said that they could respond that day between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. Ryan arrived at 3:30 pm. He was friendly and worked quickly and efficiently to fix the problem.

The previous time we had a problem we used another company who appeared to gouge us. Next time if we need a repair, we shall definitely go
back to Markham Garage Doors.

After reading reviews I decided to go with Markham Garage Doors. Their repairman, Ernie, arrived, assessed the problem and fixed it quickly. He also lubricated the moving parts of the broken door and my other door as well. I was very pleased with the service and with the costs and especially with the service technician. The people, Chris at the office and Ernie on site were very friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Justin came to install the new garage opener I ordered. He checked out my garage opener and did maintenance on it and fixed the problem and therefore I didn't need a new one. An honest company! A big thank you to Chris and Justin. Last year I purchased a new garage door from them and be rest assured, when I do need a new garage opener it will be from them. Quality service and stellar customer service! I will be recommending them to all my family and friends.

Justin who came to install the door did a fantastic job. He was fast, efficient, and above all, professional the whole time. Kudos also to Louis who was our salesperson. We are very happy with the look of the door as well as it's operation. As a bonus, we got an upgrade on the door hardware because the estimate did not include the door hardware which was discussed when we signed the estimate. Markham Garage Doors were recommended to us by our friend and we decided to contact them to get a quote to install our garage door openers. We were given knowledgeable advice over the phone about the options we had and estimated costs. We booked the service appointment for the same week. The openers were installed, job well done. We also needed the second appointment to change bottom retainers, again we experienced an excellent service and communication. We will definitely recommend to use their services.

Our garage door is just over 6 years old (builder's special - heavy wooden double car door) that has never been serviced.

The cable on the left side became frayed, and was no longer level. It wasn't until two broken rollers broke recently that made the door sound terrible that I finally decided to call for service. I chose Markham Garage Doors because it is a local company and had great reviews here on Homestars.

Kevin answered the phone and was here in less than an hour. He worked quickly and efficiently, and didn't mind my curiosity as I chatted with him. Although only 3 rollers were broken, I asked to replace 6 instead in case one of the remaining others might break soon.

We will definitely be calling Markham Garage Doors again in future when it comes time to replace our garage door. Thank you again Kevin for the great service and answering all my questions.

Ernie was over within 2hrs of me placing the call. Very professional and curious! I didn't have time to shop around - but did ask my friends what they paid after the fact. Markham Garage Doors was very reasonably priced!

Markham Garage Doors is a very professional contractor. Brandon (now managing Whitby Garage Doors) gave me a tour of their Markham immaculate showroom which was well stocked with samples of the products that they install. He asked me about my plans, showed me a range of options and then gave me some brochures (with notations) so that I could take my time making my final selection. When I made my selection I phoned Kevin Chappel (the owner), who came to my home, gave me a written estimate and explain how the installation could proceed. Before I signed the contract, he gave me a probable installation date. One day prior to the proposed date, he phoned me to tell me that the components had arrived and checked that the following day was still convenient to the installation. As scheduled, John did the installation the following day and made certain that I was familiar with the operation of the garage door. He removed the old door and its components and left the area spotless. The following week, Robert arrived, as scheduled, to do the aluminium capping around the door and again left the area spotless. Great service, great product, great people!

Had Markham Garage door replace my Chain GDO with a Belt... worked wonders for noise reduction. Justin, the installer was professional and kind enough to make some minor adjustments to the spring and existing brackets to ensure smooth operation. Highly recommend Markham Garage Doors for anyone who is thinking of garage related replacements.
