Emergency plumbing job due to huge leak in our laundry room ceiling

We have an"after hours" emergency - water gushing from our laundry room ceiling due to old pipes. The service tech was friendly, knowledgeable and was quick to get to the problem and have it fixed. I was impressed with his level of professionalism and would certainly recommend them to anyone else with plumbing needs.

Hey Catherine,

It was a pleasure helping you and Mark with the bathroom and laundry renovation. It turned out VERY nice and I am glad you both really like it.

We are always more then happy to answer ANY questions you may have. It is better to ask questions, (no matter what they are,) and get the proper answers, then it is to hold back and be in the dark. As you know, if we do not know the correct answer, we will do the proper research and find the correct answer.

If you have any questions regarding plumbing, heating or drain cleaning in the future, please do not hesitate to ask. ;0)

Keep in touch, and tell "little man" I say Hi.

Hot water tank, 2 new toilets, 1 sink

We started off needing to replace a 15 year old water tank and ended up adding 2 eco toilets (uses less water to flush)and a new sink in the basement bathroom. Dealing with Justin was a good feeling experience. We felt he was trust worthy. While on site Justin checked the rest of the plumbing and made suggestions for the future. He was prompt and on time. He definitely is our go to guy for our plumbing needs.

lol, again another review that didn't post the original reply.

I am glad you were happy with our service, it was a pleasure working with you Art. how are you enjoying your new sink and toilets? remember to flush your hot water tank yearly and keep up with the baking soda/vinegar trick to prevent any drain blockages.

Hope all is going good.

Leaking Toilet

I contacted Justin to repair my leaking toilet and have a look around my plumbing for anything dangerous. Since I was renovating my bathroom anyways, Justin suggested I wait to fix the leak until the new toilet was put in.

His honesty was much appreciated and he was very great to work with! Thanks Justin

Weird, I responded to this review back in December, but for some reason it never posted. Thank you for taking the time to give a review.

It is our policy to give our customers the best options available and let you make the decision from there. The toilet in this case was leaking from the base when flushed, indicating that the wax seal needed to be replaced. Nobody was currently living in the residence and you planned to do a renovation before anyone moved in. In this particular case we could have changed the wax seal and stopped the leak, or saved your money for the reno, at which point in time the toilet would have been replaced and a new wax ring installed. I did not feel that it was worth spending the money on it, when it would just be replaced shortly after anyways.

I am glad you were happy with our service and hope all is going well.

Hot water tank replacement

Justin was VERY informative and helpful, he knew all the right questions to ask and explained what to look for when getting a new water tank, as this was the first time I had to replace one. Very thorough and knowledgeable, and of course friendly too!

Repiping the whole house

It started with Justin looking over a dripping faucet or two at my previous house, and progressed to a total repiping job (from polybutylene pipes to PEX) at my current house. This is why I keep going back:

- Trust Justin to fully explain EVERYTHING; he knows his stuff and is more than happy to make sure you know what he's going to do. He will keep you informed every step of the way.
- He will present you with all available options and work with your budget.
- He's skilled and competent: he will not fob you off with inferior workmanship and waste your time.

"Bringing Customer Service Back to Plumbing" is not an empty boast by Justin; you can count on timely communications, professionalism and that willingness to go the extra mile. I don't doubt there are other plumbers out there who can "do the job", but Justin is definitely steps above the rest. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

ahhh, Thanks Karen... I think you have made me blush while reading a review, for the first time. I really appreciate you taking the time to write a review, it means a lot to me. You are a wonderful person and I am just happy to be able to help and make everything as easy and smooth as I can. I believe that when someone calls a plumber it is already a stressful situation for them, and we like to do what we can to help ease that stress and make things as simple and understandable as possible. thanks again for the review Karen, have a great day.

Faucet replacement, re-caulking of shower base, inspection of leaky valve, inspection of other fixtures

A couple of months ago Justin came by my place to make some repairs and to check on a couple of other small plumbing issues I had. Prior to his arrival, he got held up at another job; however, he was courteous enough to call me to update me on the status of his job quite often so I wasn't just stuck waiting without any idea what was happening. This has happened a lot with other repairmen I have booked appts with. Some have just not shown up at all without even a call so I was impressed with Justin's customer service. When he did arrive, he made all the repairs and inspections thorougly and efficiently. He even reduced the cost because of the delay in his arrival for the appointment. I would not hesitate in recommending him to others.

Drain Clearing, Plumbing

Justin answered our call immediately, even though it was on the weekend. He gave me information over the phone suggesting what the cause might be and suggesting a solution (which other companies would not take the time to do!). He made himself available right away, answered all the questions I had in "non-plumber" language and solved our problem quickly and efficiently. We will definately call JJ's first when we need a plumber in the future.
