Reliable Home Comfort

I recently had a new boiler installed, and the guys came and red-tagged our furnace because there were minor condensation marks on the venting. They suggested putting in a new furnace and venting. I decided to ask the company who we rent the furnace from to come in and have a look. They said the furnace was fine (!!) and venting should either be repaired or replaced since it has been tagged! I decided to shop around and ask for quotes. After a few days of calling people and getting quotes ranging from $300 -$900plus for new venting, I found and spoke with Rob at Reliable Home Care. He agreed to come over to give a free estimate before replacing my venting. He came over within 2 days of my calling him, inspected the furnace and venting, and told me that all I needed was a minor reinforcement of the glue on the venting. No need to replace anything! Since there was a red tag, he needed to fill out and send in the paperwork. He and his associate went to Home Depot themselves , bought the glue, applied it, inspected it, and left without charging a penny! He filled out the forms with the appropriate information and sent it out himself, and sent us a copy. Who says you can't find honest, decent and helpful people nowadays?!
We were more than pleased with our service and experience. We will definitely be recommending this company to our friends. We will probably upgrade our furnace in the next few years, and will be calling Rob at Reliable Home Comfort!

(By the way, after this we had our annual maintenance appointment with our furnace company as per contract, and they said our furnace was perfectly fine! )
