Tom and David are very easy to deal with. I’m very happy with the installation by Joe and Mike. I will definitely hire them again and will highly recommend to friends and other owners looking for security doors.

August 22nd 2017 owner came out, took measurements and we paid a substantial deposit. We were told the custom door would not only be made but also installed within 3-4 weeks. It is now more than 4 months and we are still waiting. Husband has called a couple of times only to be told they are short on installers. Christmas travel plans cancelled due to door not installed & no date in sight. Service doesn't get much worse than this - ridiculous.

Revising this review because our security door has now been delivered and installed and we have now paid in full. Sadly it took posting a brutally honest review to get things moving. Day after posting this review my husband called them again (turns out he had called at least 4-5 times during the 4+ months), and much to our surprise his phone calls were finally returned by the office and the owner. Installation was scheduled for the following day (Tuesday, January 9th).

10/10 product and installation: there was never any doubt that the custom made security doors are the best and top of the line. Very well built, choice of colours, and decorative accents make for a beautiful door that is a true work of craftsmanship. The installers arrived on time and worked meticulously (outside in the cold) to install the door. They were here 2 ½ - 3 hours and left a clean and damage free work area.

0/10 customer service: we stand by our previous post, it was 20 weeks from purchase to delivery and installation – we were told 3 to 4 weeks for fabrication, delivery and installation. We had planned on purchasing several window grates, retractable gate, and another security door; unfortunately after this experience we won’t purchase from this company again despite the superiority of their product.

They must be doing a heck of a good job because there were about 1 month behind on their promised installation work due to too much business. Aside from that, they sell a very good product. There installers are courteous, knowledgeable and work clean. The only problem I had is that the frames of the window screens only come in black and loudly contrast the white window they are seated into. The installer tried to convince me that I would get use to it but within four (4) day I had removed the screens, painted the frames in my basement and reinstalled them and they look great.

I am extremely happy and will recommend Metalex to everyone.

The owner Tom came in and measured up everything we were given a quote which we accepted. The parts were delivered in a timely manner and installed neatly. There were a couple of issues one screen was missing and there was a misunderstanding with the colour but we all agreed that the colour was going to work if we could get two frames for windows without screens and two additional screens so that all colours would match, the extras were all supplied at no extra charge. We are impressed with both the product and the service.

AFTER A CAREFUL RESEARCH WE CONTACTED METALEX FOR THEIR SECURITY PRODUCTS. THE PRODUCTS IS REALLY GOOD AND THE HOUSE IS MUCH SAFER WITH THEIR PRODUCTS. THE MATERIAL IS FANTASTIC AND IT ALSO LOOKS GREAT.

What a pleasant experience working with the professionals at Metalex. These screens will be strong enough to stop my hundred pound pups from running through the mesh.

Product was more than three weeks behind when originally promised.

The two installers were a pleasure to deal with and performed the work in a very timely and professional manner. They arrived on time and completely installed three high security screen doors beautifully in approximately 4 hours. My wife and I were extremely happy with the result and impressed with the quality of the product.

After a break-in, a police officer directed us to security measures which included Metalex products. Almost immediately we contacted the company. First, Tom, the owner, came to our home and was friendly, knowledgeable, informative and not at all pushy. We ended up choosing a front screen door, a back sliding screen door and a front porch window screen for our peace of mind. Next, was the quote process through David who was easy to work with and a pleasure to communicate with. Finally, the installers, Joe and Mike, were no nonsense, got the job done quickly, professionally and treated our home like it was their own. We cannot say enough about the overall professionalism and kindness of everyone we were in contact with at Metalex throughout this process.
