G&E Landscaping

I contacted George for an estimate to pave my driveway and within 2 days he came and was most helpful in helping us choose the pavers.
It was very clear he knew what he was doing and had extensive knowledge of the available products and what suited our house.
He and his crew showed up and immediately got to work removing the old driveway, the delivery truck showed up on cue just when they were ready for it, all was very well co-ordinated. All George's crew knew exactly what they had to do, each specializing in their own job so there was not a lot of shouting orders and arguing as can happen with contractors, it was like a symphony. The work was completed whithin a day and cleaned up to our satisfaction. A few weeks later George came back to check if everthing was Ok and sealed the driveway. We now have the best looking driveway on the block and it not only looks good but makes our house look bigger, passerby comment on it all the time, we are very happy!

G & E did a great job on our large natural stone porch and walk way. They started on time. There was a bit of a snag waiting for the stone, but it was beyond their control and they kept us apprised of the progress the entire time. They cleaned up after the job was done. Even a year after the porch was installed, there was a crack in the porch (an accident that we caused), and a loose stone - they fixed it at no charge.

We are overall very satisfied with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Will definitely look for them again when it's time to re-landscape our back yard.

My wife and I purchasd a home in Etobicoke a few years back and while we fell in love with the inside of the home, we were less than thrilled with the state of the back and side yards. The previous owner had approximately 1800 square feet of concrete poured around the pool and down the side of the house. The concrete was poured some time in the 80's and it had since heaved an buckled to the point where it was compromising the stability of the pool. The gardens were equally neglected and simply out of date. Knowing we had a big, dirty and expensive job on our hands, we called several contractors to secure quotes. The final quote we received was from Jorge of G&E Landscaping. Simply put, Jorge and his team at G&E were by far and away the most cordial and professional of the lot. They spent over 90 minutes assessing the job, taking detailed notes and measurements. and provided us with a detailed plan of attack. I was so impressed that I hired G&E on the spot. George and his staff started the job within days and completed it within the agreed to time lines. What's more, the results were fantastic with the price coming in slightly under budget!!! How often does that happen? Every Spring since George and the team drop by to inspect their work to ensure that all is well. Our experience with G&E was so positive that we have since recommended him to several of our friends and co-workers! The moral of my story is that you simply can't go wrong with G+E landscaping!!!

Your professional workmanship, attention to detail and flare for landscape design are obvious to anyone who has seen your work. What used to be a worn out, uneven patio is now a beautiful extension of our home and a nice place to relax and unwind with family and friends. We have received many compliments on the great new look that we now have in our front and back yard. G & E has just finished the 3rd project I had them do for me and the completed work is exceptional. I am completely satisfied with the patio addition in the backyard. The original work has stood the test of time - approx 6 years and counting. George and his team were able to add to the 6+ yr old work without any disruption. It looks as if the entire inter-locking was all done at the same time. Very impressive.

My front walk and stairs is another testimate to the G & E team. That inter-locking project is approx 7+ yrs old. I have had one service contract in the 7 yrs to make some minor adjustments and the work looks like it did 7 yrs ago.

His father and team worked solidly in the scorching heat. They completed the work in said time;were patient with all our questions and welcomed our watchfulness. The flagstone has improved the appearance of our home: it has made us house proud!

Last year, I met with several contractors to build a slate walkway for me. Most refused to even quote on the job, as they said they couldn't source the slate for me. Jorge, on the other hand, was willing to make the effort to find the slate and did a phenomenal job building the walkway. He and his team are true craftsman.

The reason I want to give them an 11/10, though, is due to their efforts this year. The first year after a job, without the homeowner reminding them, they visit each job and reset any loose stones under warranty. Also, for a fee, they hand scrub, dry and seal the walkway.

Unfortunately, the slate had a rare reaction to the sealant and a white film occurred. Jorge, without any prompting,came back 4 different times to use special (and I'm sure more expensive) cleaner and sealant to correct the pathway. He refused to charge me any more money for his materials or the significant number of man hours he invested in the project.

You just don't find that pride of workmanship anymore and I would highly recommend them.
