RDM Derksen & Co.-No Longer in Business

First i would like to give thanks to Robert and Eugine from RDM Derksen & Co. Few month ago we need to renovate our master bath. It look too old, so my wife want to renovate it. I heard about this company by my friend name Fiona, she also give review here. After that we contact RDM to come our home and give suggestion for renovate our master bath. I am so much pleased with this two guy. They have outstanding experience and well trained and calculate minimum cost. Now our master bath get her new look. We are so much happy to see our master bath.

I was impressed with Robert's knowledge and professionalism. I reviewed his website and spoke with his references all of whom highly regarded his work. My wife and I employed Robert to renovate our kitchen, master ensuite, and replace our existing windows with high efficiency ones. The work was completed on schedule and with no hidden costs. It was a pleasure to work with Robert, I highly recommend RDM they are true professionals.

RDM Derksen & Co. put down hardwood flooring in that back of my store, Philistine. They were very quick, and did an amazing job. In addition to the flooring, they also built and installed a ceiling fan with new light fixtures, and installed a custom fitted copper pipes that hold draping for the fitting rooms.

In the summer of 2008 I hired Robert to tear up ceramic tiling throughout the main floor and replace with hardwood. He also renovated my kitchen and two bathrooms, built a wrap arouond deck and painted the interior and exterior of the house. I was very pleased with his work, he was very professional and easy to work with. I hired him this year to renovate my condo. Both bathrooms, painting, electrical, and designing a glass wall to create a bedroom. I definitely recommend Robert and would use his services again.

Over the past 35 years, I have had many experiences with a number of general contractors on all types of our projects, and found none that can compare to the recent experience I have had with R.D.M. Derksen & Co. LTD.

R.D.M. recently completed a 4500 square foot new custum made home for us, at Warden and Lawrence, on time and with out so much as one change order, and made this a first class building.

RDM Doerksen has done work for me for several years.Earlier, they did a major renovation on a downstairs room in a house that I was preparing for sale, and I was pleased with the result.More recently, they have helped me renovate my condo by sanding, removing veryold wallpaper, painting, etc., and I am once again very happy with the results.Also, they are scheduled to enclose my balcony in the spring. They are very easy and congenial to deal with, and I find their pricing very fair.I would therefore highly recommend them.

It is my pleasure to write a reference letter for Mr. Robert Doerksen as a general contractor. We decided to renovate our kitchen in 2008, and Mr. Doerksen was the contractor that we selected to conduct the renovations. We first selected him because of the comprehensiveness and quality of the quote that he provided.

We were very pleased with the work performed in our renovation. It was a particularly difficult renovation, and there were substantial problems. The cupboards that had been ordered by the designer had been measured wrong by the company, and the company shut down Canadian operations in the middle of our renovation.

Despite going significantly over time because of the cupboards, Mr. Doerksen returned and finished the job as soon as the cupboards were installed. He was always pleasant and polite, and provided various options (with varying price tags) when unanticipated events arose.

The kitchen was finished in November 2008. We are still very pleased with the quality of the work provided and enjoy our kitchen every day.

First, he worked with the engineers to open up (and subsequently close) numerous areas of the walls throughout our house, to permit the engineers to determine the structural elements of our new house. Our new house is a unique structure, so this was not a straightforward job. Second, R.D.M Derksen & Company Ltd removed a supporting wall between the kitchen and living room. This work was structural and required working together with many other trades.

R.D.M Derksen & Company Ltd's work was well done, done within the projected time frame and done within the estimated costs. We found that the people working with R.D.M Derksen & Company worked extremely well with other trades, including electricians, painters and engineers (who were all independent to R.D.M Derksen & Company). Each of such trades brought its own distinct personality and style, and requirements for working. We found that Robert Doerksen, the president of R.D.M Derksen & Company, and his workers were very accommodating and flexible.

Robert Doerksen was also a general pleasure to work with, from the initial assessment of work required, responding to our questions and in ensuring the job was completed in a professional manner. It was a very busy time for us. Robert Doerksen was extremely accommodating, helpful to our family and the decisions to be made, and worked in a way to reduce or minimize stress.
