GTA Movers moved me from my townhome to a storage unit until my my condo is getting renovated. They were very polite, organized and they worked like a one good team. Wrapped everything with a stretch wrap and blankets and they even stored my furniture wrapped in their blankets. When I called few other companies they said that they will take blankets with them. Everything went very smooth. I am pleased with GTA Moving Sevices. Thanks to Viktor and his crew.

GTA Movers provided reliable, efficient and careful moving services. They came on time. The movers were polite friendly and worked hard for 8 hours straight! I would recommend them to anyone.

Amazing and friendly guys came on time. They wrapped some of our stuff not only with the stretch wrap, but they also used a bubble wrap for our pictures and mirrors. We Did move a lot of times but this time it was done at the highest level of our expectations. We are very pleased an we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!!!

Recently I moved my stuff from Scarborough to Brampton. I contacted three moving companies and requested estimates from each of them. The GTA Moving quoted the highest amount but they mentioned that they will match the price of other moving companies. So I negotiated and got them match the price of second highest one. So they reduced the price from $650 to $600. The reason for choosing them was my simple logic that higher price means more reliable service. At the time of my confirmation, I informed them that the elevator was booked at Scarborough from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on April 28 and from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Brampton on the delivery day. The people showed up at 3:30 PM on April 28 and started charging me from that point of time despite knowing that elevator won't be available until 4:00 PM. Just at 4:00 PM I was asked to pay upfront with a credit card with a blank amount. I refused to do so. So they called their supervisor who initially asked me to comply. I told I was willing to pay a reasonable amount as an advance but can't sign on a blank amount. Then supervisor told me not to pay and asked his people to start the work. To my utter surprise they had not brought any material to wrap & protect furniture, no moving pad, no shrink wrap and no scotch tape. They came empty handed just with a Moving Dolly. Upon finishing their work, they charged me from 3:30 PM. During loading, one table with glass top was stacked wrongly. It was just by chance that I entered the elevator and just at that moment, the glass top came out from the table and broken. They attributed it to my mistake and didn't entertain my insurance claim. On the delivery day, their people showed up at 11:53 AM although the elevator was booked from 11:30 AM. With this bitter experience, I won't recommend anybody to use their services.

This is the email I sent to the movers which of course I have had not response. Also please note that we moved across a parking lot which took approximately 2 mins.
I am sending you this email to let you know how disappointed and appalled at the service we received from your so called moving company. When I spoke to you on the telephone you led me to believe that this move would take approximately 8hrs, which is probably why you told me this in a telephone conversation. You are supposed to be the professional in determining what we would need for our move. All you were out to do is rip us off. I should have known right away when a rented discount truck showed up. You assured me that the movers would arrive between 0800-0900am and we were all ready but they did not arrive until 11:30AM. I received a telephone call at 10:15 from the movers to say they would be here in 15mins which did not happen. I called you and you said you would find out. I was told by the mover that they had a move until 2:00am but this is NOT MY PROBLEM. I booked you weeks ago.

What we should have had were 3 to 4 movers to get this done in one day. I listed very clearly below what needed to be moved and you assured me this would be no problem.

We hired movers so we WOULD NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING. MY HUSBAND AND I WORKED AS HARD AS YOUR MOVERS DID AND THEY ALSO HAD THE NERVE TO ASK FOR HIS HELP SO HE SHOULD ALSO BE PAID FOR ALL THE HOURS HE WORKED. We are in our 60’s AND HIRED MOVERS SO WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING. We are just starting to recuperate from our injuries from this move.

There is damage to some of our furniture that I know was not there before the move.

My son arrived around 9:00pm and was appalled at the fact they had not moved the truck yet. By 11:30 we were so exhausted that we had to arrange for you to come back on the Monday which was another terrible day as again we had to work hard. If we hadn’t done what we did you would still be moving us. You managed to stretch out the time as much as you could.

All you were out to do was to take advantage of us. I am sure W5 and Homestars and other websites would love to have this review and hear our story. I would like to protect other people from your terrible service.

This company doesn't have a great reputation on here, and I'm really not sure why. They did a great job of moving my wife and I from our previous apartment into our new home. They did ask for our credit card number up front when we booked, but that isn't an issue for me. The crew who showed up to move us took care of our belongings, packed and unpacked the truck properly and in a timely fashion, and never had a complaint about moving things out of our third floor walk up. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends. Thanks!
