Back yard pool landscaping

Im a resdient in vaughan, and i was referred to ampac paving to give me a quote on a extensive large backyard project. I required a nice and elegant patio so that my family and i could enjoy the backyard. Mike suggested to use natural stone which would compliment the exterior brick and arrangement of soft landscaping which incompassed my backyard. The crew of 8 were very professional and efficient. They did a great job with time management and the cost. Thank you ampac

Driveway Widening, Paving

Contacted Ampac because of good work they did at my old house over 20 years ago. No one answered the office phone, but Giles was good at answering his cell phone (his number was on the business card). However, Ampac was very poor with followup. Sure the weather was bad this spring and may have caused some delays, but not what I have experienced. I was originally told that work would commencement before the end of the first week in June. Two weeks after that, I called and asked again. Giles said it would begin before the end of the second week of July. A week after that, I called again and was told he would consult his schedule and call me again the next day (that was yesterday). No call arrived, so I am now 6 weeks behind schedule and looking for another company.

Backyard landscaping

I experienced excellent customer service from the phone call to the finished work. Nothing more satisfying then being able to call contractor and get the work done efficiently, timely, professionally and feel like you've got your money's worth. I felt I was in good hands and found Mike very trustworthy and I definitely would recommend Ampac to any of my friends, family and associates without hesitation.

paving

I will NEVER use AMPAC services again. The quality of their work is poor and the customer service is well below standard.
My wife and I tried our best to resolve the issues regarding the paving job but to no avail. The quality of asphalt they used was not very good.
I do not recommend this company at all.

Catch basin fix

I found Ampac through a local news paper ad because I needed a catch basin fixed on my rental property.
I was impressed that they were operational in the middle of winter. There was a snowstorm on the Thursday. Mike showed up the following day. They displayed excellent service, efficiency and workmanship. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family, and business associates. I will call you guys in the future when I have to pave this property

Temporary gravel driveway

My neighbour and I contacted Ampac paving last fall to have a temporary driveway put in (we share the lane that leads to our two separate driveways)until this Spring when we could have them both paved once renovations were complete. My husband and I paid the company in full and my neighbour (the smarter of the two of us) partially paid. Ampac came just as Giles the sales guy said they would and they proceeded to level and grade the driveways. Ampac applied one layer of gravel on the driveway, gently packed it down and left. There we had it our dirt driveway. The layer of crushed gravel was so thin we immediately started sinking into it. We called Giles and he promised a second layer of gravel before winter, this being October I thought we would be fine as it was getting cold outside. November and December came and went with no gravel. Our calls were not being returned and Giles said he had done all he could do and that it was up to the owner Mike and he politely gave us his number. I finally got in touch with Mike through Giles in April when we were unable to get in/out of our driveway. Delivery people were getting stuck and we were bottoming out. When Mike finally came to see our driveway he had the good sense not to attempt to drive on it and he parked in the neighbours drive. He began by telling me yes it's awful but he has no trucks on the road and couldn't do anything for one month. I explained this was not acceptable and we had paid him in full. When asked why he didn't complete the job in the fall his response was they were busy with other jobs (my guess.....they hadn't paid him yet). I then explained yes this is a temporary driveway but we need to pave it this spring and are you not interested in this business? He then said well I have a small truck on the road and they would come the next day and patch it. Well they came all right! Basically they filled the two deepest holes with gravel and left. Sloppy job and terrible customer service. Needless to say they will not be getting our paving business.

Expanding and readjusting current interlocking

About 2 years after having interlocking done (with a different company) around the front yard, and extra space for another car, the stones began to shift and tilt in place. Called Ampac to see what they could do, and the next day work began. Took them a total of two quick days to pull out the old stones, resurface the sand, expand the sides, get new bricks and lay it all down. Exceeded our expectations. Awesome team, would recommend to anyone.
