Purchased various products on Home Depot credit card. Each purchase had 12-month interest free payment terms - then 26% interest for late payments. I paid bills religiously as items came due. Then one month paid bill like usual, paid interest free balance due at that time. However, next month hit with $500.00 of late fees. Bill was itemized by payments due each month, however, the order between June and July was flipped! Jul was before Jun, and I issued payment for Jul ... but Jun was missed. I Had to fight with the Home Depot Credit Dept. for 3 weeks...and not the store as it was out of their hands. They admitted wrong doing, but said they had to still be paid. We ended up settling half way. I feel robbed! I advise everyone to NEVER get a Home Depot Credit Card. If you do,be very careful!
