Andy's Top Notch Hardwood

I bought some Bruce Gunstock Oak hardwood on sale at Home Depot and was considering installing it myself. Once I realized the project was beyond me we requested estimates from a couple contractors, including Andy. He beat the others on price and from his website we knew that he had done similar staircases to ours.

Are we ever glad we went with Andy. His work really is 'Top Notch'. The stairs have an unusual curve and he had to make templates to get all the new treads and trim pieces made up. When he brought the new pieces in they fit perfectly. His hardwood installer got all three rooms and the hallway done in two days flat. This was remarkable as the hallway curves and there was a lot of fitting of boards to do. Not only that, but he managed to get the flooring so close to the walls that I could use just thin baseboards without there being any gaps.

Andy started and finished the job when he said he would and there were no surprises or extras when it came to the price quoted. We highly recommend him.

I had hardwood stairs installed and was very pleased with the service, Andy advised it would take approximately 2days and he stayed true to his word and he did it on the weekend which we were so impressed with as we work during the week and are very busy.

Andy is efficient and friendly. His work is excellent. He is punctual and tidy. They got the whole job done in one day. He did this job a couple of years ago and I'm having him back this week to put hardwood in the master bedroom.

I received a few estimates to install hardwood in the main floor of our house last year. I went with Andy as he seemed very genuine and professional.

Andy said that it would be a 2 day job, and he would arive at 7:30am Andy and his co-worker arrived right on time, and worked very efficiently. They arrived the next day right on time again and worked straight through the day finishing up a little eariler than suggested. When they were done they cleaned up and there was no junk left over.

They did a fabulous job and everyone who saw our house before and after loved the look of it. We will recommend Andy to anyone who is thinking of having hardwood installed in their home.
