Paul and Connor are fantastic home inspectors. I've had him inspect homes for my fiancee and I in the last few months and I've learned valuable lessons from their experience and insight.

Paul stopped us from buying 2 houses with foundation moisture/crack issues, and based on their experience they could tell us fairly confidently that the weeping tile would have needed to be replaced soon, a $50,000 + cost for the houses we were looking at.

Regardless of the outcomes of the inspections themselves, Paul and Connor have taught me valuable lessons about codes/best practices on windows, proper grading, roofing, and non-structural repair work that I know I'll use for years down the road in our new house. They also have great tips for assessing primary inspection points quickly, so I can have a rough gauge of house conditions during viewings before even ordering a full inspection.

Paul is THE home inspector in the Ottawa region for anyone who really cares about buying and keeping a home in proper condition. They might charge a little more than others, but this is a tiny cost in comparison to the quality and experience they offer, and what you can learn along the way.

All reviews giving poor ratings either made a mistake (wrong inspector or bogus review) or probably shouldn't be buying a house for themselves if they don't want to take proper care of it.
