We built with Kimberley homes and made a great decision! The whole process was fantastic and our home turned out unbelievably. The service was great and we were able to get quick answers during the build process. I highly recommend Kimberley Homes and would not build with anyone else!

As a 2 time purchaser of Kimberley Homes we can honestly say the quality of workmanship, Customer Service and attention to detail throughout the sales and building process were first class. We'll be buying our third in the future!

Chose Kimberley Homes based on the research I did on the local builders. Bad choice. Terrible customer service....many emails unanswered. Once they get your money they turn a blind eye. Sure they will fix the deficiencies, but only to a minimum standard. Thought they would go the extra mile but not so much.
Pretty sure I will be hung out to dry when I fill out my list of repairs needed from my one year anniversary of possession.
I will live here for awhile, but can hardly wait to sell this place.

We absolutely love our new home from Kimberley Homes. It is everything we imagined and more. Jillian was amazing and worked with us throughout the whole process to customize our dream home. The whole Kimberley family made this a wonderful experience.

Our sales representative was always available to answer any questions, and during our initial walk through Kimberley was diligent to ensure our house was up to the standards they operate on.

What can I say about Kimberley Communities but WOW! From the start the process was easy, and the sales person was outstanding. April was courteous and knowledgeable, and made buying a Kimberley townhouse super easy. The unit I purchased had already started and I was still able to make my color choices. I took possession a few weeks ago and everyone who comes to visit my house is amazed at how beautiful it is for a townhouse. I recommend to everyone to buy from Kimberley.

Do not build with Kimberley Homes! Things were going well until they got the money upon possession since then it has Been a nightmare! The service is is basically non existent emails to the service manager go into abyss and are never addressed. I movedin February and am still waiting for a garage, landscaping, among various other deficiencies that have not been dealt with. Basically the entire row of town houses is having an equally terrible experience with Kimberley Homes!

Buyer Beware! Subpar construction and finishing on our house. Would hardly call them custom builders as any request for changes to their showhome plan was met with super unreasonable price quotes. Promised the same quality as showhome or better, but this is a joke promise. The best advise would be to build with ABK (Anyone But Kimberley).

DO NOT build with Kimberley!! That is my advice to you. Our experience has been an utter nightmare from the moment we moved into our home. I believe they are treating us as a second rate buyer because we chose a model in the lower price range.

I have no idea how they were voted builder of the year in 2009. The stress they've put my wife & I through has probably taken a couple years off of our life. Here are some of the issues they refuse to fix:

1) our driveway rose heaved 2-3" above the city sidewalk during the first winter. We are the only house on the block with this problem. Yet Kimberley states that it is not their problem, as it is the city sidewalk that sunk. Right....

2) They built our house with an eavestrough running directly across the front sidewalk right in front of the front entrance. We've had several people step on it or trip over it. It has become a part time job raising & lowering the eaves with the weather changes. We asked why they couldn't have ran it under the sidewalk, and we were told it was clearly outlined in the blueprints. Apparently they think we're Architects...

3) Our basement was not developed, but we agreed that they would frame it. Well it was the lousiest frame job I'd ever seen. We had to have several ares redone (at our own expense) so the drywall could be affixed properly. Very sloppy workmanship.

4) Our powder room smells like a sewer treatment plant. There is a sewer gas odour coming from the sink overflow. We've been fighting this one tooth & nail. They did try changing the sink, which didn't work. Now they're pretty much throwing their hands up in the air saying there's not much else they can do about it. This fight is definitely not over.

There are numerous other reasons I would recommend to STAY AWAY FROM KIMBERLEY, but I just thought I would list the main ones that come to mind. I'm so disgusted with our experienc, I would probably never "custom(?)" build a home again for as long as I live.
