Justin from Nusite came to evaluate solutions after some water damage in my basement. He suggested a few affordable solutions, but given that we wanted to improve the living space of the basement, we decided to go for underpinning instead of simply waterproofing. Justin helped us find an architect, a structural engineer and a general contractor to take the project some start to finish. They also handled scheduling city inspections as well as the engineer inspections that I hired. We were given estimates about how long the project would take and given delays during the job to organize different trades outside of their control, I think the task was completed reasonably close to the time estimate. The actual contract price was significantly higher than the initial price estimate once we had an actual architect and engineer plan, especially after we discovered a hidden cold room.

As the project went on, whenever there were issues, Justin, Grant, Karel and his team were all quick to rectify.

Their friendly and professional attitude throughout the project was greatly appreciated. I would certainly hire them again.

The attention to detail was evident from ensuring there was no debris left behind and making sure they cleaned up an stray mud spots of my next door neighbour's wall to re spreading gravel in the work area.. Throughout the entire process, Justin consistently kept me updated on the progress, so I could continue focusing on my work duties while the work was going.

Since the completion of the waterproofing project, we've experienced several heavy rain days, and I am happy to report that the basement remained completely dry!

In terms of payment, the company's contractual terms were clear and fair. The entire process, from consultation to completion, was seamless, and I felt reassured by the company's commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Justin showed up for his appointment on the most opportune day. He was able to see my problem and diagnosed. The job was done in a timely manner, with cleanup being one of the surprises I got. The site was protected with drop sheets and wiped clean.

We interviewed many companies, but Justin and his team at Nusite were the only ones who actually identified the problem, and came up with a viable solution, which included waterproofing part of the house on the inside, and part on the outside, with minimal disruption to our landscaping, etc. The crew worked quickly and effectively.
