GES built our house from the framing to the drywall stage (so a large part of the build). We found this builder to be extremely costly. He insisted on having an on-site project manager in a heated trailer almost around the clock. Many of the trades told us this was completely unnecessary. Also, some of his trades came in at well above market level. For example, our drywall cost $55k and the GES quote was $82k. At a certain point we realized we had been paying significantly more than the market rates for many of the trades which just did not makes sense. We therefore finished our house without GES from the drywall stage onwards which allowed us to finish the house on time while saving money. The GES time scale was very long. Certain trades mentioned that there was overkill in what he installed - for example - commercial grade waterproofing. Unless you want to spend a lot of money and are not going to miss the extra money you are spending, please do not entertain a GES build.
