Basement Reno

Basement reno included a new enclosed bathroom, painted existing rough and exposed ceiling and the movement of the washer and dryer. The team and subcontracting crew is friendly, easy to work with, and considerate. They were able to start right away and work on the scope quickly and more cost effectively.

However they have a few areas for improvement:

Finishing - Painting and silicone is messy

Rushed work - 2 leaks, poor patch work, cracked/missing grout, etc..

Follow-up: Volume of visits, not the process. Project Management not onsite and the same crew is used to fix issues after they have moved on. It took 9 weeks to get the variances resolved. I'm left touching up the walls and paint still.

Approximate cost of services:
$25,000.00

Company Response

Hi Aaron,

We apologize for any frustration at the end. The project manager on your job is the very same Elia who is praised in dozens of reviews and is often requested by clients. He was going through a personal issue and that affected the final touches. Everything is ok now though thankfully with him and with your job. If there is anything else we can do - you know where to find us! Our reputation speaks for itself and we aren't going anywhere ;)
Congrats on the baby and all the best.

Ben and Dan
