Gar Con Building Group Ltd No Longer In Business

When we first contacted garcon back in March, we were quite suprised that our email was returned within a matter of minutes, and we were able to get adam to come out to our home the same week. our chat with adam was very pleasent, and we like many of his different ideas. he was on time and he came prepared. after our meeting adam told us we would have the quote within the next few days. again we were suprised when we had the quote by the following evening. it wasnt a simple 1 page quote like we got from the other 3 guys we met with. the quote 9 pages long. it was detailed and it spelled everything out to us very clearly. we've never done a project of this size before, so we like that all the details were clear to see. we especially liked how he handles the different finish material that we were weeks from being able to select. the allowances he gave us made it very easy for us to go shopping and select what we wanted while staying within our budget. Adam helped us thru the design phase and helped us apply for our permits as well. whenever we had a meeting with the architect, we offered adam to join, and i dont think he missed a single meeting. the project started on time and things went very smoothly. the project ran just a couple weeks over the orignally estimated time frame, but we were ok with that. the quality of work was never rushed and there were never corners that were cut. i welcome anyone to contact me and i can tell you first hand what a good guy adam is, and how thrilled we are that we made the right choice with garcon. some of our friends got burned with some renos they did, they went for the cheapest price. adams price was fair and we felt right away that he was a person we could trust and welcome into our home. we cant say enough good things about adam and garcon. larry was also great. he was always there when we needed him. we would highly recomend garcon, and we will.

I used to think that contractors worked like mechanics. You went in expecting one thing and then a whole bunch of other things popped up.. This was not the case when I signed the contract with Garcon to finish my basement. There were no surprises or additional hidden costs. Adam, was clear with me from the beginning to end. I was even able to cut a few corners here and there."

We were very pleased with the work GarCon did for us. they did a complete gut job to our main and upper floors. The quality of workmanship was extremely high. They always had good open communication with us. The price was very reasonable given the amount of work we were doing to our home. We got 3 other quotes, but GarCons was the most detailed. We love our home and had a great experience with Adam and GarCon.

We had called GarCon once we received our drawings from our architect. Adam came in and reviewed the drawings with us and provided several alternatives on places where we could cut some costs. We found him to be extremely knowledgeable in all the different areas we needed to work on. We ultimately hired GarCon to complete our projects and were very happy we did so. The crew and staff were very pleasant to deal with, and our emails were always answered the same day, if not within minutes. The project was a success, and the quality of work is excellent. We called Adam to come in and give us some ideas on how we could add more space to our home. After meeting with him and his architect, we decided building up would be the best plan. Adam worked with us throughout the entire design process to make sure we maintained our budget. Construction started as planned and they did an amazing job. We now have 4 new bedrooms, 2 washroom, beautiful en-suite bathroom with his and hers areas, and a stunning walk-in closet for all my wifes clothes and shoe (she gave me a corner). Very happy with their overall approach from initial consult, to the design and budget, and all the way thru to final completion. My wife and I are broke now, but extremely happy that we used GarCon and got this job done right.

GarCon came into our home the next day after we called them. We got their quote the following day and gave them the go ahead right away. They were on time, on budget, and extremely tidy. Very happy with the work they did for us.

Both my parents and I have used GarCon on several occasions to complete renovations and repairs to our homes on multiple occasions. We have found GarCon to be honest, hardworking and dedicated to all their client. Whenever there are any issues or concerns with our home, we can always count on Adam to come by and give us an honest and educated answer. Definitely good guys to keep in your Rolodex.
