Home Depot - Newmarket

Worst place to shop from. Especially when you are real need please look for some other home depot. The problem is from top to bottom. Worst experience i can ever have in life buying online. Confirmed regarding the order 2 times and was assures all will be in order as i was pick from this location in specific due to the quantity showing here was what i required. After 4 days when finally order ready email received to my shock the order was half available. They still charged the FULL amount, never called to inform order can not be completed as requested nor they are refunding the money for something that is not available with them. Tried to contact the Store manager ‘Ms. Timbers’ but no show again. If the manager is this responsible then offcourse people working under will be as responsible as she herself is. Waste of time completely dealing with this location. Rest assured Home Depot is The Place! But this management and reps just gave the worst taste!! Not even sure if they are ashamed of such cheap acts!

Paid deposit for new door Aug. 21, 2018. At the time I wanted it before the cold weather or at least Christmas. On January 25 we were called and asked for our credit card number. At the time I said I didn't want to give it until the job was done satisfactorily. I was told I had to give it or the job would not be done. I was told it would not be submitted until the job was done. I checked that night and found out it was submitted to my Visa that day. Finally the job was done January 29th, 2019. The side light we requested was not installed and it does not match the door. The side light is 5 panels high and the door is 6. We called and made a complaint and sent pictures. We were told it would be fixed. As of March 24, 2019 we have not been given a date for replacement and they have our full payment for the door and side light.

Purchased a bug zapper yesterday morning, could try it until 8pm (store closed) found out it was used (dead bugs where in it) and it doesn't work! I paid full price for this..now i have to wait until monday to return it and give them a piece of my mind, regarding used items put back and paying fullprice

Purchased ODL White Retractable Screen for 6 ft. 8 In. Sliding Glass Short Height Out-Swing Doors 36 In. x 78 In. Says you can cut to measure. Electricain by trade, very handy but after installing parts on inside of door frame only to find out it should be on the outside, the retractable screen would not retract. Stay away from this item, spend $100 more and get a complete door..

After what seemed like a long wait (10 weeks from signing), we finally had our new Dorplex entry door installed by a Home Depot subcontractor. The quality and appearance of the door seems good
and we noted immediately that it was warmer with the new door.

The quality of the installation is good although I did note some interior trim was not pefectly aligned. The installer pointed out that our previous door was permitting water ingress and took steps to help avoid that (I believe it demonstrated he was paying attention to his job). The work was completed in about 4 hours and cleaned up after.

The price was slightly higher than other quotes but is mitigated by a 1 year deferred financing option. They are unwilling/unable to provide a quote in the store although the sales man how came was pleasant, knowledgable and and not pushy.

We are satisfied with both the product and the installation.

Went to the depot for outdoor carpet, had to wait 15min. for an associate, then they couldn't run the carousel,found a supervisor,
their punchcode wouldn't work,then the super started to train the associate on the use of the carpet cutter/measurer. Then other customers came to watch because they couldn't find associates either.
The absolute best was that the original associate underpriced the carpet to us saving us $100.00. Talk about incompetence!

We put in a great basement a few years ago, the Home Depot was a great place to purchase all of the supplies. They were most helpful sime they have folks that can help with plumbing and electrical questions.

I WAS PRICING THE LUMBER TO BUILD A DECK AND GOT THEM ON SALE FROM HOME DEPOT. THE WOOD QUALITY WAS GREAT AND PRICING WAS FANTASTIC. I COSTED IT OUT AND THEY WERE THE CHEAPEST FOR THE LUMBER

They provided great assistance at the time of designing my deck and helping me with the products that I required. Also the rental department assisted with the tools that were required. I would recommend them to anyone.

We just purchased our first home and decided to retile areas a project that we tackle on our own. As we had never done this before we had many questions. We asked a lot of questions and met some great associates. One of the associates was exception. We spoke at length with her while she outlined in detail what we had to do. She even offered to come out to our house on her day off to help out. We were surprised to find someone who really knew what they were talking about. Without this women we would of been in deep trouble with our project.
