Not happy that we've been left without heat b/c of poor planning.

Although Rejin was quick to respond, there was some confusion about parts. The day after the visit, the manager was supposed to have ordered two parts. When I called to find out what was happening, he said he hadn't put the order through because he was waiting for confirmation. [?] It was unclear from whom confirmation was needed, I asked him to go ahead as it was urgent... without a working furnace, we had to rely on two heaters that needed to be moved around continuously for warmth and to keep the pipes from freezing. When I asked when they would arrive, he was vague and said Tuesday afternoon. Called again Wednesday & was told they still had to get the part. Thursday morning we were told they would have the part and would be by in the afternoon for installation. We were relieved and were looking forward to a normal New Year's Eve. At around 3:00ish, I get a call from Rejin saying "bad news". The parts place was closed for New Year's Eve! Of course it was... all businesses close early on holidays. WHY didn't the manager make arrangements for pick-up first thing in the morning? Why wasn't this anticipated? The upshot is that we now have to wait 4 more days, possibly 5, before parts & labour are co-ordinated. My electrical bills will be sky high because of this, not to mention the discomfort & worry [base heaters are the no. 1 cause of house fires]. And of course, I couldn't even speak to the manager because HE had gone home for New Years, leaving us in this position.
