called about leaky kitchen faucet and outside taps. Plumber advised that Clearview doesn't fix outside tap leaks, they only replace taps. Why not advise customers of this policy up front as the estimates provided were far too pricey for my budget and I'm sure there are plumbers out there who will fix a leaky tap. As for leaky faucet, the plumber initially advised that a part was cracked but proceeded to only remove some calcium buildup and turn the o-rings. Claimed it no longer leaked and charged me the call-out fee. Well the faucet still leaks so I called Clearview. They claimed their man had 'fixed' the leak as a courtesy at no charge so no warranty and I would have to pay a call out fee again to have them properly service. While I realize the call out fee is standard and I wasn't charged over and above that, I didn't take a day off work to request an expensive quote, a visual inspection or a 'courtesy' fix. I requested a repair. So why not fix it right the first time? Sounds like a ruse to gouge customers for multiple call out fees. Will not use again.
