We bought a Rosehaven home in 2007, in a large Rosehaven development from the original owners who bought the house in 2003.
We have had numerous problems over the years which has resulted in huge costs to us as homeowners. Our exterior balcony was sloped in to our house causing water to enter our home which we had to have redone completely to correct the sloping. The original owners paid for hardwood flooring upgrades and we have had to have them completely redone on both floors. The installers did not screw in the subfloor which lifted everywhere, they laid down plastic exterior vapour barriers on the sub floor instead of paper, and used short staples which barely held the floors down. When I contacted Rosehaven within the 7 year tarion insurance period I was told it wasn't structural and too bad for us.
It is deplorable that a company who is building homes which should be of good quality and long lasting is providing a substandard quality build.
I would never buy a Rosehaven home again as we've basically had to rebuild their shoddy home from scratch.
