Never do business with this Air Makers
DON'T Deal with Air Makers Inc. They are not HELPFULL and there is no after sales customer service. They will void your warranty on your furnace by installing the A/C but will tell you they will cover the warranty. They installed my A/C and had numerous problems with it from the beginning. A/C doesn't cool up the house. when asked for a service call they will ask you to do stuff over the phone and DEMAND a service fee if they send someone to figure out the issue. My A/C unit had the same issue and my neighbors and after 7 calls a guy showed up and was there for about 12 mins then he wanted to charge me 159.00 said it was an issue with my builder wiring. Now I am having issues with my furnace when call them I was told it's not their problem and they DON'T cover it. Wanted to charge me service fee and the guy I believe the tech was so rude on the phone and text. Now I'm with A/C for the past 1 week and had to pay someone to fix it. sad part is I bought the A/C with this company in 2015. STAY AWAY FROM AIR MAKERS. Will be reporting them to BBB and take them to SC courts.
I have all the records and convo from this company owner and rep. if anyone interested to see them email me would love to share and this would prove my case. babusuji@msn.com
See the attacking response from the owner and judge who you will be dealing with. They dispute any negative comments is posted (see history) and deny everything on the review. My neighbor has the same unit but works fine because it was bought at Home Depot.
See response from the owner for my complaint. isn't this contradicting?

Hello Rajeshbabu,
First and foremost and after having carefully and repeatedly reviewed all documents, all evidence and all written and all verbal communication details, it is quite unfortunate that I am forced to point out that every single sentence in your review contains misinformation and absolutely misleading and false claims, to say the least. With utmost regret, this is absolutely a libellous post, since you are well aware that our work, nor the air conditioning unit that was installed by us, never encountered any issues whatsoever (unlike what you are falsely and knowingly claiming) and as discussed below, with regards to any issues that were 100% outside our binding obligations, we had always tried to help you in good faith and we had always stepped beyond the responsibilities bound by our contract, to make sure that as a client, you were satisfied - since customer satisfaction is the very core of our business. Fortunately or unfortunately, however, no party likes to be taken unfair advantage of - repeatedly - most especially in face of unfair threats of posting bad reviews and in facing continuous use of profanity to exert pressure in bullying our colleagues and in facing unreasonable demands that are outside our legal, our ethical and our moral responsibilities, unfortunately and sadly only so that you could avoid making payment for a repair that was out of labour coverage (in full accordance to our contract)- and most especially when we have already tried to help you outside of our binding obligations, not once but twice before. All records of your use of profanity in demanding a free service call for a furnace that had been out of labour coverage past almost one year over, are available - this is especially notable when you have never experienced any issues caused by our equipment or related to our work nor the equipment that have been under our warranty and also considering that we did not charge you previously on issues outside the binding contract, twice. All other required proof in support of our case are available and we have absolutely never denied any coverage for an equipment that had been under warranty.
Before discussing the details of our interactions below, I would like to also point to the fact that you have so far edited your review (which you have posted also on BBB) a number of times and the very first time that you posted your reviews, you had changed the reality of events to the point that we absolutely did not recognize you as a customer - also given that you had posted as an anonymous user. It is very unfortunate that instead of posting a real review on your actual experience with the installed equipment and our good faith efforts which had in fact led you to refer us to other homeowners, you have to engage in falsely and maliciously targeting our reputation. Nevertheless it is your prerogative to engage in any act as you deem fit; however, due to the extreme bad faith shown from your end, we also reserve the right to voice our concerns against this libellous post and please note that we, unfortunately, see no other option but to proceed with legal action against knowingly publishing of misleading and false information along with the direct targeting of our reputation.
You are very well aware that in the previous summer (2016), we had made 2 non-A/C related visits to your home (both on emergency basis and both during heatwaves - which take time away from homeowners with legitimate issues in the middle of a heatwave), one pertaining to a dirty filter that was not replaced on time by you and one pertaining to the heat recovery ventilator wiring done by your builder (the HRV has never been under our warranty and we had to correct the mistake of the builder for wrong workmanship) - both of which were chargeable according to our binding contract. You were, however, NOT CHARGED for any of those visits. Although you had personally made a promise to follow up with builder to claim the repair fee for the second visit, which you never followed through. Unfortunately, having no concern or appreciation for our previous efforts in helping you resolve issues that were outside of our binding responsibilities, in summer 2017, you contacted us afterhours with a thermostat/furnace issue. You were promptly replied to, reminded about our previous efforts stepping outside our binding obligations and asked that you review your contract and confirm that since the furnace/thermostat was not installed by us and since the labour warranty coverage that we had taken over, had ended in 2016 on the furnace/thermostat, there will be a visit fee for diagnostic and labour. Nevertheless, you were asked a few more questions and were guided on how to get started on getting the issue resolved. However, on this hot day, you demanded for us to step outside our legal means for the third time in a row - but since this would have been the third visit unrelated to any warranty issues covered by the A/C installation and given your unfortunate choice of unkind and threatening words (to say the least) which were absolutely uncalled for, our integrity left us with no choice but to draw the line and we chose to deal with a false review targeting our reputation, instead of meeting an absolutely unreasonable demand. It is certainly extremely unfortunate!
Regretfully,
