Please stay away from this company and read the reviews very untrustworthy/ and overcharges like you cant imagine.

Horrible experience with this company. My parents had their hot water tank replaced and received a bill for $2500.00. I had just replaced my own tank and another company charged me $1200.00. When we looked into the invoice, they had charged 9 hours of labor, part of which they forgot some tools so had to drive back and forth to Vernon to pick up said tools.. and charged my parents for this! As well, they charged $200 stating 150 km on the invoice. I drove from door to door and the actual mileage is 20km. Had the same experience that others have wrote about on here, parents tried to call and reason with them and they would have no part of it. Rude. Short and only stating only they would take to court. Absolute worst experience and clearly many many other have had the same. The Better Business Bureau also has countless complaints regarding Aslan. Do NOT use them ever.

This company should be more aptly named "Scar" instead of "Aslan" for not being forthcoming with costs, for charging for hours of incompetence including driving back and forth to obtain forgotten supplies like a wrench then again for glue, and then putting in a septic pump that costs $1600+ without informing you of the price increase.

Worst experience I've ever had with a contracting company. They invoiced us after six months for $730. After two weeks we had another company come auger it properly for $150. They rely on the Work Authorization Form that they've had time to perfect. DO NOT SIGN THIS FORM.

I called Aslan to fix a electrical plug in my kitchen. I called in on a Monday am and they arrived on Tuesday morning. He started work on the plug, and then went into my spare bedroom and continued to check all the plugs. He took my ceiling fan off and then told me he couldn't put it back on. His reason was the the fan was unstable. I told him it had be up there and working for 40 years. He then put up an old light and had the nerve to charge me for it.
He did say they were behind in billing so it might be a couple of weeks. I never received a bill for 5 month. $869.85.
He was here for 3 1/2 hours but billed me for 8 hours To fix a plug. I freaked out and called Aslan. I assume the delay in billing was a hopeful scheme on their part.
I asked to speak to the manager and got the guy who had been to my home, so nothing was resolved. He kept saying to me " Don't you remember me being there for 4 1/2 hours the day before. I just said NO WAY were you here the day I called it in. So because I am a senior doesn't mean my memory is failing.
The job is terrible, The wiring is placed on the outside of the ceiling over to the control panel. What he did is NOT up to code. Now I will have to hire another electrical co. to fix his mistakes. To which I will be asking for the cost from Aslan.

I called at 7:45 and the technician was knocking on my door by 8:30. Simon, the technician was friendly, efficient and did a great job. I am a repeat customer and am very pleased with the service provided. Highly recommended.

Company left us with an unsafe hole in our textured wall in our toddlers playroom. It runs vertically exposing all the wires that run into the breaker panel that they replaced. When asked about it Mark the manager told me I should put arborite on it. We paid them 1000 dollar deposit in good faith prior to the job. To replace the wall cost 1300. They then 6 months later send me a bill for 1350. Currently filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. And will probably end up in court.

I contracted with Aslan to install outdoor lighting for my home. I was absent and surprised workers with a visit to the home during the work. One electrician worked on the back yard while two students a young boy and a young girl dug a trench in the front yard. I asked why they were not using a trench machine which would take a few hours. That had no idea. My invoice came with almost $10,000 slotted for the kids digging a trench! Needless to say I was shocked &. contacted Aslan and attempted to sort the matter out. The owner/manager would not take my phone calls. His accountant informed me that this was how he did business and he would never speak to a customer, but, take them to court. The accountant told me the bill for the children's work was outrageous and that she was tired of all the complaints and turmoil that went on between customers and Aslan. She quit working for Aslan the following week. Sure enough, although I tried to speak with Aslan, I ended up in court. Needless to say, when the judge (who clearly was well aquatinted with Aslan) heard the about the mess, a negotiated judgement was given at far less than the bill required. Aslan is well known for their poor service, and sleazy practice in the Okanagan, hence the abysmal ratings record.

Will never use aslan again. They pepper your bill with hidden charges and are very rude if you try to talk to them about what the charges are. I was told that The bill I signed with the start time was not the one they used to charge out labour and was then charged double the labour based on their records. Regardless of what I signed with the technician. Do not use them.

Would not recommend them.. they under quote and over charge, then will bully people into paying, do a search of their small claim cases and also look at that fact that they have about 5 different names but all doing the same thing. there reputation in this town is horrible and I believe the only business they get is from people who haven't been warned. I know that once I called them all I heard from everyone is oh no don't use them. Please be careful and if you have to use them get a written quote in advance.
