our whirlpool gas oven stopped working (oven wouldn't light even though the stovetop worked fine). After a bit on internet research I determined that it may be the ignitor. Called them to see if they had the part in stock - which they did not, but they were able to order it for me. Part came in and the service tech come out to install. He discovered that it wasn't the ignotor,b ut rather just a wire from the ignotor. He repaired the wire with a replacement he had in the truck and left me with the replacement part.
In and out in half an hour. Now I'm back 'cookin with gas, baby'!
