Our furniture was packed up in Burlington and moved into storage before delivery in Ottawa scheduled for June 21. Two trucks arrived on June 21. One of the trucks was well packed and the second truck was full of our furniture but everything seemed to have been thrown into the back of the truck. Furniture padding had been removed in some cases and it was quickly apparent that several items had been damaged. When we brought the damage to the attention of the driver he showed us the sheets from when the truck was loaded which indicated the furniture was scratched and worn. There was no point in trying to make a claim. In addition we were told that the lift truck at their warehouse was broken so some of our furniture (including all the bedrails, dining room table and all the patio furniture) was left behind in Mississauga with no idea of when it would be delivered. The set up box was with the stuff in Mississauga so the feet for the couch, bed hardware, shelf pins etc were missing. Many phone calls and emails followed. Emails were never replied to even when the management team was cc'd. Phonecalls were ignored. Apparently this is a busy time of year for them. Too busy obviously to be professional and courteous. The rest of our furniture finally arrived July 10 after we threatened to sue them.
