While I can’t speak to the durability of the product as it will take several years to find out, it does seem like great quality from what it looks like and what I’ve seen when we were given a demonstration from the sales rep. The sales rep was very knowlegable with all the different styles and brands of roof. Considering that a new shingle roof would have been about 7k or so, 16k for a metal roof that lasts pretty much forever is definitely worth it as it also adds resale value and the warranty is transferable. Only took two or three days to complete and there was no mess because they install right over top of the shingles. The guys worked hard every day. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

In the Spring of 2016 we contacted several roofing companies for quotes. New Steel Roofers contacted us that day (unlike the other two) and arranged a time to give a quote very quickly. When we asked for other properties with the type of roof we were planning we were immediately given several addresses to check out. The job was done sooner than the expected date on our signed contract. The work was done professionally as set out in the contract and the roof is beautiful. This company is professional and its work and material of the highest quality.

Our old shingles were starting to warp, got a quote from New Steel and cost wasn't materially higher than asphalt (lower if I think long-term). New Steel Roofers did a great job, answered all my questions / queries, etc. Set a time schedule and stuck to it. Did a great job.

We researched many steel roofing companies and none of them compared to New Steel Roofers. There was one company that came out to do an estimate and said the roof could be done no problem then 3 months later refused to do the work because they did not have the experienced or qualified roofers. They said our roof was to complex. New Steel Roofers were up for the challenge. No job is too difficult for them. Max had a great team put together. Very professional and hard working. The job was completed to perfection at the time they said it would be completed. Look no further than New Steel Roofers. They are the best at what they do. We are very pleased with the outcome. Thank for a job well done. We have received many compliments on our roof.

We were looking to replace our roof for a while but were delaying it because we weren't sure if shingles or steel was the way to go. The roof had leaky spots so a decision had to be made sooner rather than later. We saw a few houses in the neighbourhood with steel rooves but we were concerned about cost and finding a reliable company, especially given a previous experience. When we saw that New Steel Roofers had great reviews, we called for an estimate. Chris, our contact guy, was great. He listened to our concerns, took the time to explain everything and offered suggestions. We thought we'd be paying an arm and a leg but the overall cost was reasonable and, in the end, well worth it. There are lots of styles and options to choose from for a variety of budgets. Plus, the work was done in a timely manner and the workers were very reliable - so important for us. The best part is the lifetime warranty. Since having our roof done, people in our neighbourhood have been asking about the company and giving us compliments. We've highly recommended them to our neighbours and continue to do so after such a pleasant experience.

Contacted the company when my neighbour pointed out how bad my roof was from his vantage point. Since we were going to be dishing out a lot of money and we would be living with it for the next 50 years we wanted something a little unique. Most of the ones around us that got steel roofs are the same old, same old villa looking ones. The lady on the phone was very helpful and she was able to provide us with the addresses of some of the roofs we saw on their web side to check out. The sales person came over and he showed us all the different options and we firmed our commitment to one roof style we liked. Their install crews were pretty busy but he assured us that the roof would be on before Christmas. It was installed end of October. We love the way it looks, and the installers were very professionals and cleaned up everything perfectly right away. We've seen other installs down the street by other steel roofers and the installers didn't look very professional and a pallet sat in their driveway for what seemed like a few weeks. Before they left, the installers called us outside to have a look and they went over some of the special features of the roof and asked if we had any questions or concerns. I really liked that. They took ownership of their workmanship.
The whole process was very professional and stress free, accept for the after sales service. A few weeks after the roof was installed, my neighbour put a bug in my ear about the absence of snow dams on my roof. In my area (a snow belt area) generally about 70% of the steel roof installs have the snow dams. Ours didn't. This was not a surprise to us since all the ones we went to look at of theirs in the KW area did not have them. After my neighbour had put in my mind all the horrific things that would befall my house because of the absence of these snow dams, I was a little concerned and want to see what my options were as far as getting them installed. I called twice and spoke to their call center about having some call me with my options. No one there had the decency to call me back. I guess they just figured I was calling to complain about something and no one really wanted to deal with it - so if goes in the IGNORE file. After the third call a few weeks later, someone actually called me back with my options. That kind of thing may fly in the bigger centers they're from, but in a little town like Stratford, where you expect someone to look you in the eye and give the straight goods, that's not cool. Unfortunately this unimpressive after sales service left a bit of bad taste in my mouth and sadly tainted what was otherwise a very professional and pleasant process.

From start to finish, what a great company to work with. Salesman - top notch, installer - top notch. Material delivered on time, work started when scheduled, no clean up after, everything neat a tidy throughout. I have recommended this company to 2 other friends. Thank you for a great job!!!!!

We decided to re-do our roof and opted for the steel type with Steel Roofers. So glad we did! The work was done very professionally and the end production looks amazing. I like the fact that my roof is done for life, especially considering the short lifespan of regular singles these days. Best decision we ever made. Would higly recommend this company.

We were looking to replace our old roof and contacted both metal and asphalt roofing companies. While both have their advantages, we went with metal because it will last forever and is better for the environment. We talked with three different companies and only New Steel Roofers had the product we really liked. We went with stone coated tiles because of their appearance and snow and ice will not slide off in the winter. Chris the salesman showed up on time and answered all our questions with no pressure. The price he gave us was the price we paid. We also had two bathroom vents installed on the roof for no extra cost. The team that did the installation was pleasant and professional. It took about five days to complete the job, which is standard with metal roofs. The only issue we had was that the materials were delivered five weeks prior to the installation. They were in our driveway which created a minor inconvenience. I wish they could have delivered the materials a few days prior to the work being started but that was not really on option.

It's been four weeks and no complaints what so ever. The roof looks great and there is no excessive noise during a rain storm. We plan on being in our house for the next twenty years and it's piece of mind knowing we will never need to replace our roof again. Thanks very much for a job well done!!!

Our 150 year old home still had original slate roof. We consulted with various experts about salvaging the roof - but it would be costly and only briefly extend its life. Faced with needing a new roof, we researched and quoted both shingle and steel options. Quickly though, we realized that metal was the better option that would emulate the slate look AND be durable for years to come. We had a few steel roof quotes, but we were unsure that local roofers would be able to handle a huge job on this old house. One roofer even claimed to be able to go on top of the slate! It would have been a cheaper quote but we knew if we are doing this one time only we have to do it right. New Steel was NOT the cheapest quote. They were on the high side for us, but we were most impressed with their assessment/estimate. They immediately recognized the needs of this older house roof and were confident that they could remove the old roof, re-plywood and install the new roof without issue. Added to that we discovered bats in our attic which meant working with a wildlife guy to secure the roof from future colonies. Again New Steel worked with our wildlife guy to make it happen to spec. When we were concerned about our timeline, Max added a 2nd crew (we had to twist his arm a bit) to speed up the roof so we wouldn't miss the bat removal deadline (it's a regulated thing due to endangered species etc.). The guys - especially Sandor and his team - did a fantastic job cleaning up after themselves, being polite and friendly and respectful at all times. I've never had a really stellar roofing job before (and we've had several roofs done in previous houses). But this experience was awesome. Highly professional, quality work, genuinely good guys who seemed to really care about our house and property. I would not hesitate to use them again. We were pretty impressed to say the least!
