Terrible. Had them do a small patch of asphalt around a sewer drain in the driveway of a twenty-unit apartment complex.
They claimed the work would take considerably longer to complete than it did, which leads us to think we were gouged ($762.75 for 1.5 hours of work). Flower pots from the buildings and broken old 2x4's from our dumpster were used to mark off the area of asphalt while it was settling, which clearly shows their ill-preparedness and unprofessionalism. We were told the work would be undertaken at a time during the day when it would not interfere with traffic of the tenants cars in-and-out of the lot, but that was not the case, and thus many complaints about this were forwarded to us.
However, most significant was the fact that the asphalt didn't actually cure properly and now needs to be either torn up and re-done, or sealed in the spots where it did not cure in the correct way. They claimed they would return to do the sealing, but have not done so, even when I followed up with them in regards to it.
The vast majority of service-based businesses we deal with are professional and reliable, however, Mountainview Asphalt Sealing & Line Painting fail spectacularly at meeting even the minimum standards of any business professionalism.
