My experience with Dufresne Furniture. Back in August of 2014, yes 6 months prior to this post my wife and I put in an order for a bedroom set. I paid a deposit and was told 6-8 week delivery time. Ok that's great, we had ordered a matress as well and said hold off for now we're just waiting for our bedroom set.
6 Weeks later I go in to check on my order thinking things are going well. "Sorry seems there's something wrong with your order" It was never actually submitted. We're told oh something happened it's going to be another 6-8 weeks!
So we were very upset but it was nice and we're going to have it for a long time to come so we said ah well things happen.
6 Weeks later we're hopeful things are finally going to work out and we'll be getting our bed set soon. "Sorry there's been some delays.
Long story short we didn't get the bedset delivered until the beginning of December, 15 weeks after we initially ordered it!
Yay we have a delivery date. Furniture comes, they're setting it up for us and the guy comes in. So there's been a problem, half the bed set is in one colour the other half is in a different colour!!!! You have to be kidding me!!!! Then all calm like this is a normal everyday occurrence, sorry there's been a problem and it's going to be another 6-8 weeks oh and we didn't bother ordering your headboard extensions!!!!
We're now March 2, 2015 and I get a call today out of nowhere, we're just confirming your delivery tomorrow between 12-3. I'm sorry no! I didn't schedule a delivery, no one is going to be there!!!
Hopefully your experience goes much smoother but I cannot say one good thing about this place. 6 months to get a bedset with non stop problems and not once did they try to help us out and offer some money back or a store credit or anything!! Not to mention the disorganization and complete lack of customer care.
Needless to say I will never be returning and hope that no one ever has to deal with them and go through this again!
