We purchased a bedroom suite for our daughter, and paid to have it delivered to our home and placed in her room. When Dufresne phoned to arranged delivery, I asked for a morning delivery, as I took the day off work, and I have kids to pick up after school.
When I received the delivery confirmation, it said delivery time 3:30 to 6:30.
I phoned Dufresne right away to rearrange this, because this was not what I discussed with their CSR when arranging delivery. The CSR that spoke with me was THE rudest person I have ever encountered. I explained the situation, she said that it was not possible to have a morning delivery, and that they would never have said a morning delivery was a possibility. Her suggestion was to ask a neighbour to come over. REALLY?! To ask a neighbour to come over?? The responsibility to moving in furniture!
I almost returned the furniture and went to a different furniture store.
I wanted to shop local, however, I will never step foot in a Dufresne location EVER again.
I will also tell everyone, that their customer service is appalling, and to purchase elsewhere.
