Custom sectional never delivered
i purchased a love seat from crown furniture in january 2013. after leaving a $200 deposit for it, and agreeing to pay the difference in cash upon delivery i received my order, but it was over one week late.
however, i was satisfied with my order, so i decided to place a second order for a custom sectional, left a $700 deposit on visa, but they were having "trouble with their machine" so i tried debit and it went through... the balance due upon delivery was to be 1300 + tax.
it has now been 4 months since my order was placed - which i was told would have been delivered within 2-3 weeks (meaning in FEBRUARY!!!!)
since calling to arrange delivery date all through January and February i still have not been able to get a hold of anyone at the store...it is now April 30th, and there has been a sign on the door saying "closed for two weeks" since february. no returned calls, no returned emails, however theyre delivery truck is parked in the back alley behind the store at times - so i know that someone as been to the location at times.
i am attempting to have my money returned from my bank, however my bank statements show that the deposit was taking by "CANTO FURNITURE" not "CROWN FURNITURE"
has anyone else had this same problem?
to those who are trying to fight for their money back...what is the result? any success?
im at my wits end and am about to contact the landlord for the property and a lawyer
