I have tried emailing, calling and leaving voicemails, with no one caring to return correspondence. The items are still outstanding from 30 day form, and 1 yr form, but no one responding back. How can these outstanding items be resolved, as they were reported on time? I have submitted to Tarion and still nothing. I would never buy a home from this builder and I recommend you dont either. I had purchased my first home from Rosehaven, and all of the home issues were resolved within the first 6 months of living there. What a stark difference I am so upset, and I feel very under appreciated as a client.

All taping in the home is coming off the wall. House isnt even 4 yrs. Old. They dont stand behind their product, as they dont bother to answer your call, or call back.

I recently got the keys to my house in the Country Homes Alcona project. My house is absolutely beautiful! Jessica from the Design studio really attended to my concerns and assisted in any way she could. Every upgrade I purchased was worth every penny.
As they are still building homes close to my house, the site staff is very nice and always say good morning when I walk my dog. The site super Anthony is awesome. Any time I needed help or had any questions about my house, he helped me out right away. I can't wait for the rest of the community to be finished. Country Homes builds great homes.

My wife and I purchased a detached home in Alcona Innisfil September of 2020 with Country Homes. The sales representative was amazing! Very informative, helpful and honest. Once we made our purchase and we were no longer dealing with the sales representative, the experience slowly started going down hill.

Decor was a challenge as the decor manager at the time was not very understanding of certain situations, however, we will get back to this later. While construction of our house was very slow, our issue was the poor communication and the amount of mistakes that were made. We had to contact them several times informing them of items being done incorrectly or were missing. With less than 3 months from closing, we got a email informing us we would not be closing at our expected date. They did not provide a final closing date with proper notice until we were a month away. Upcoming closing, they provided our lawyers an incorrect total purchase price and charged us an additional $452 for an amendment. They would not close the property unless we paid for something that was not our fault.

After closing, we had several issues with the house. Most unforgivable is with our kitchen. We did not take kitchen uppers as it would be unused space. The decor manager informed us our cabinets would meet the kitchen bulk head. There is now a massive gap above our cabinets and after reaching out to Country Homes several times regarding this, they are not going to rectify as we do not have this in writing. I do not feel this is something I should have requested in writing as we were discussing directly with the decor manager. Money was never the issue, we just saw this as something we did not need. If we were informed correctly that would be a gap, we would have added the uppers. We now had to live with a kitchen we are not happy with or hire contracts to try and resolve this somehow.

A safety issue we are currently having, our corner lot is being used as storage for their materials to build the remaining houses. We are are unable to walk around our property safely.

Overall the experience purchasing with Country Homes was a poor one and personally would not purchase another home from them. This was our third time purchasing a new build. This has been by far the worst experience and longest 30 day Tarion form we have completed.

We have bought brand new houses from different builders during the last several years. We have seen builders with poor construction quality / customer service and some with more acceptable care about their customers. However, this is nothing compared to the great service and construction quality received by Country Homes.

We had only few cosmetic issues to be addressed when we received our new home. They have been very respectful to hold any repairs during COVID spikes. Our experience dealing with their own crew, team and trades have been nothing but a great experience.

Looking forward to have the pleasure to own another Country Homes when available.

We bought this brw house from Country homes, our dream house. Little hicupp at closing due to some glitch with their accouting but afterwards all the mive with the gelp of Anthony, Christian, Mike, Felow Sophie all were very very helpful understanding n made it easy, which could have been stressful without yhem

This is my third time buying with a builder. I thought that during these unprecedented times, everything would be different. However, Country Homes still managed to take care of all the issues I had. They were respectful, and honest, and educated me about a newly built home. Although it took some time for things to get resolved, they still took care of me. With the lockdowns in place, I had to be patient. I had to follow up with my issues, but as mentioned, all of it was resolved. The quality of the house was great, and I would recommend buying from Country Homes.
