Paramount Flooring

Had to put through an insurance claim due to damage to our clinic flooring. Jared was awesome right from the first phone call I put in. He said he knew right away how to best deal with insurance claim aspect and knew what they needed and wanted. We were going back and forth with another company since we were required to provide more than one estimate and Jared worked back and forth to keep competitive and advocated for us to get the best settlement he could. Their show room was new, modern and had a ton of selections to pick from. Was really happy with their installers too, particularly Kevin who was super knowledgeable and skilled at the installation aspect and went above and beyond to even accommodate our request for the 4 day holiday weekend so as to reduce our businesses down time to a minimum. He finished his job earlier than promised (in 2.5 days instead of 3) which left us plenty of time to get our office back together and not leave it down to the wire time wise. To sum it all up, we're thrilled with our new flooring, what we got from our insurance settlement budget and the installation process. The floor looks awesome too ;) Great job guys!! Thanks for everything! Would recommend them again in a heartbeat. Ask for Kevin to install. He was great!!

UPDATE: The carpet that was laid did not match the colour on the sample board that I had chosen. After three months of unsuccessfully trying to get the matter resolved with staff, I posted a negative review on Homestars. Immediately thereafter, the owner of the company, Dan, contacted me. Dan came to the house, saw that there was a noticeable colour difference and was open to working towards resolution. A few weeks later the replacement carpet was installed. Thank you for becoming involved and resolving the problem, Dan!

I am not sure how to say this. Avoid them at any cost!
1) If you pay something in advance, you will not see them soon.
2) When they start work, it is just temporarily. They’ll leave mess in your house for weeks.
3) They’ll be kind and nice until you pay everything. After that you are on your own.
4) Forget about any fixes or warranty unless you want to drag them to the court.
We cannot believe they survived 25 years in the business. We are sad we helped them.

We like the selection of flooring that Paramount supplies and we found the sales associate to provide good opinions on design. The price for the tile was comparable to other suppliers however we found the price for the other tools to be a bit pricier. Returning items is a hassle here as you have to deal with the exact same person who sold you the material, so if you cannot reach them then you have to wait for them to contact you back, which isn't the most convenient thing at times.

Very prompt service. Laying the foor was fine and a good job, but would have preferred them to remove the old lino first. They just laid the new one over the old lino.
