Down payment provided . The company in our opinion must be the one of the worsed in Calgary when it comes to their manufactoring plus installation of windows and doors. Ours came non-fitting, sloppy product manufactoring, screens to frames and being new had already scratches and bend. One of the windows during winter had moisture between glass. Windows are NOT soundproof. Our heating bill due to windows not fitting tied, and actual have areas were one can look through the frame to outside, has gone up $ 76.00 - $102.00 last winter. Very sloppy manufactoring which is very unbecoming to a good window company. The never mention the changes in Building Code and so we were installed windows with old Code. Sales person promises good product in the best of customers need but when the product is sold and money exchanges hands the whole conversation with them changes. Installers same sloppy work. Insulation sloppy and mitering very poorly done. When windows were installed next day immidiatly Alberta Windows and Doors was notified about the windows and all is unacceptable as is and we wanted our taken out windows back. We told them immidiatly about their product and installation but they were unwilling to even come close to at least a mediation. We have hired a window inspector and paid out of our pocket the cost to have the windows being checked and the consent of inspector is VERY POOR quality and gave a list of what needs to be done would we even accept their products. On one frame there even was blood left behind. One window we had to recaulked around areas of casing because they when installing ripped out part of wall. This company after 1 1/2 yrs still refused to operate within their promises of warrenty. They are very good in making excuses but that is the only think they are good at. We had the total house renewed with windows meaning the company had an opportunity to make a nice profit on us but what they done is choose to sell us very poor assembly product and lousy service. The above is based on our experience and not intended to harm the company. We would or have ever recommended them.
