New LG stove and Broan Range Hood-Service and Resolution

Excellent website! Sales agents were very helpful both online and in-store. Excellent communication from the company as to delivery. On delivery, I was alerted to the fact the the stove was crushed in on the side and one corner was warped. The delivery guys took photos and contacted the company. Within minutes I received an email to call for re-delivery. Delivery arranged for next day. Up to this point, everything had gone very, very well. HOWEVER, when I went back into 'Manage my order' late that evening, there was an additional delivery fee posted if the stove was to be delivered. This cost should be absorbed by the party responsible for the damage. That next morning, I received a call that that the stove would come between 9-1:00 p.m. However, stove was delivered 15 minutes later at 8:10 a.m. and I had had no time to contact my gas installer to disconnect old stove. Had to call the company about pick up of old stove 2x. Second time, I received a call the next day saying that the old stove would be picked up without additional charge. I had already paid a fee for this. Being able to track my order meant that I was not stuck at home all day waiting around. The fact that the company was willing to work with me to resolve the issue was key for me. It means that in the future when I need new appliances, I will return to CAS as I will have confidence that they will work with me if there are problems. I am a very happy customer now.

On delivery, I was alerted to the fact the the stove was crushed in on the side and one corner was warped. The delivery guys took photos and contacted the company. Within minutes I received an email to call for re-delivery. Delivery arranged for next day. Up to this point, everything had gone very, very well. HOWEVER, when I went back into 'Manage my order', I was charged another delivery fee. Why? This cost should have been absorbed by the company. I was not responsible for the damaged stove. I received no time frame for the 2nd delivery. That morning , received a call that the stove would come between 9-1:00 p.m. However, stove was delivered 15 minutes later at 8:10 a.m. and had had no time to contact my gas installer to disconnect old stove. I'd paid to have old stove taken away. Called company regarding the issue. A report has to be filed. Old stove sitting in my backyard. So, still a few issues to iron out. I will update with the outcome.
